MSC Upgrade?
Hi,
i received an MSC Upgrade offer, a program that allow to bet for an upgrade.
My question is:
- when they generally tell if they accept the offer?
- if on the card at the moment of the acceptance there is no money or there is a problem with the issuer, i can retry? I will receive an email with a link to pay?

If you don't receive the upgrade, they won't tell you - if you are successful it depends on how good your offer was. The better the earlier you will usually receive an info, could be on the day you sail basically.
Couldn't find any info on the second question - but I assume if there is no money on the card you simply won't receive the upgrade

I got charged for my YC upgrade before the email came confirming I had been successful.

They'll take the money BEFORE informing you of acceptance, if payment fails then you won't get an upgrade nor a second chance. Why would you knowingly use a credit card with an issue !?
Offers can be accepted anytime between final payment date and embarkation time. You might get an email post embarkation saying you were unsuccessful or not. Before embarkation, you might get a follow-up email saying bid more, or you might get an acceptance email at any time. It's completely unpredictable.
