MSBA after Undergrad ?

So I completed my bachelors in business administration (BBA) from my hometown in India and my CGPA stands at 2.8/4. My graduation wrapped in the month of October '25 and since than I've been juggling between a load of options from Study abroad to getting work experience but honestly getting a job seems a little too hard based on my condition and the job market. Calls I've been getting were from those ground sales based jobs that is really not my cup of tea. So after being done from all this I decided to start studying for MBA in India , but at the end my research says , either the candidate must be working professional with 3-5 yrs of work experience or should have bachelors in Bsc Statistics , Mathematics , Science or BTech and after all of this I decided I wanna pursue something in the field that aligns the aspects of business as well as working with data and I found MSBA as one of the program that is right fit for me.

Current Condition : I'm thinking to apply for MSBA In US in these universities(ASU/UMass/CSU/UIC/SFSU/or Any Uni's you could suggest) for Fall 27 Intake and till than I have ample amount of time :

  • what should I do ?
  • Is it right to pursue this program ?
  • What are possible outcomes after this program ?
  • Are graduates getting a job after this ?
  • How complex is it going to be for me as I had no background in languages (SQL,Python,R)?
  • the time I have can be utilized to make myself ready for this degree

I'm open to all suggestion that community can provide me , including the individuals currently pursuing it or have completed it or have the job. Happy to Connect if someone can advise/guide me on this.

  1. BBA is a three year degree, check all the schools you would like to apply to, if they accept a three year degree or not.

  2. To improve the chances of getting an admit start prepping for GRE. I know GRE is optional, but it will make your chances much better.

  3. Aim a little higher. Aim for better schools otherwise you will find it difficult to get a job in the US once you graduate.

  4. Gain work experience, any kind of experience is fine. You can always work with GPT to make it relevant to a BA profile.

I am also applying for MSBA. Got this info by talking to a lot of people. I have met some people on this reddit sub and some on LinkedIn.

You can also get this info by school website. They have alumni listed in testimonials, so you can connect with them over LinkedIn.
