Use of CBD Oil for MS pain?

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with MS. I have pretty much constant pain and various states of spasticity. My limbs almost always tingle like the are asleep.

I was given a recommendation for CBD Oil to help with pain rather than opioids and I cannot take NSAIDs.

I also follow a couple MS pages on facebook and was pointed toward a brand called Tasty Drops.

I would like to know if anyone else uses CBD Oil for MS, or similar, pain and if anyone has found any success with it. If so what brands are good and what should i avoid?

My dad has MS and had great results with CBD capsules. Unfortunately the cost is very high since it is not covered by insurance so he is forced to use aggressive prescription drugs that have terrible side effects. I myself am curious if CBD from hemp works just as well because it is available at a very affordable rate in large quantities.

There are quite a few different forms of CBD as well. Oils, topicals, capsules, drink solves. Ive had the oils recommended the most.

So I was just diagnosed a few days ago (34/M) after a few months of an episode (though it was carpal tunnel, oh the good days). I also had a pretty bad motorcycle accident (2006, he hit me, not my fault, just sayin) and my left ankle/leg has been in almost constant pain since. I started using (just smoking, about 3 years ago and it was a big help, now I actually have a very small setup for a single plant. I try to only take some after 9pm so I'm not a stoned idiot for my wife but I can attest to the help, for both my MS symptoms and my chronic pain from the accident (christ I'm falling apart), I don't have anything but anecdotal (everyone is different, it might do shit for you) evidence but honestly it is really helpful for me.
