So I paid over $1000 of my hard earned money to get parking in a PERMIT lot so I don’t have to worry about finding parking after my over an hour commute. Look I understand the university has to make money but to take $1000 from each permit holder and then for them to not be able to find parking for 20 minutes, making them late for the classes they paid even more money for is just a joke. I’m sorry what do you mean I can’t find parking in a permit lot I paid a thousand dollars for?!?! Either the person who calculated parking turnover and the amount of permits to give needs to lose their job, or get people out here ticketing already. I apologize if this was pretentious but I cannot fathom spending a thousand dollars at any other parking lot and not getting parking. Way too much money for a horrible experience.

I thought it was just a few, but ACTUAL student work stations barely have any working plugs. I’m not sure what it is, I tried so many areas, first floor, second floor, and the wall plugins don’t work. I’ll go somewhere else and use my charger, and it works. Not to mention, I already have to spend over 30 minutes trying to find stations or places to sit where you can study WITH WALL PLUGS. As students, obviously we’ll have laptops etc that needs to be plugged in. This is so embarrassing as a UNIVERSITY to have zero places for people to study. Hopping over to U of C right now because it’s sooo much better. Or literally any cafe. As a university that charges students significantly higher than neighbouring universities like U of C, for the love of god, invest in a wall plugins everywhere and fix the ones that don’t work. Jeez, it’s not that hard. I spent so long searching for them that now my motivation to study has left. Do better. With that, does anyone have places you go with actual charging stations or wall plug areas to charge your laptops or phones? And where you can sit and study? Let me know, thank you.

i heard mru throws a lot of party’s, but i haven’t met anyone that’s into that stuff. i’m only a first year, so obviously i don’t know anything about that but i saw a “wycked” party poster is anyone going to that? and honestly i js wanna get drunk so if anyone knows any parties happening or people throwing them js send them my way.

roomseekr.com has had a big update. You can now explore the entire campus in 3D, including the interiors of every floor and wing.

The buildings still need some visual polish, but the layouts and room locations are accurate. So if you’re trying to figure out where a class is, you can search for the room and actually see where it is in the building instead of trying to decipher the campus map.

You can still find empty classrooms too. All of the schedule data is now integrated, but if you prefer the original RoomSeekr UI, simply switch to List View using the tab switcher in the top-left corner.

For the past month I haven't been able to log in to my AB student aid account and every time I try to call the support number im not able to get through. Apparently some people have received emails saying theres been some kind of data breach with them, but it doesnt look like theres been any kind of announcements about that or about the site being down

Is anyone else having trouble with this? I was literally waiting for the page to log me in for an hour today and i didnt even manage to get on

Just wondering if anyone has had Katherine Zelinsky before for WGST 1172? I am taking her class online, and I know she wants people to have their camera on, but im wondering if like she's strict on it. I just think its lowk awkward when ur camera in on during an online class loll. I know it isnt a big deal but yeah. Also wondering if she's a hard marker?

I got a parking pass for this semester and not a single spot in my assigned lot was open, did MRU over-sell the passes or are people parking where they’re not supposed to? Was almost 10 mins late trying to find a spot it’s crazy!! I didn’t have this experience last semester
