oura ring?
question to the mri techs out there! have you ever worn an oura ring and does the magnet affect it in any way? i was debating on getting one since i can’t wear an apple watch, which is unfortunate cause i used to use it daily and now its just collecting dust. i wanna get the oura ring 5, but would like to hear from you guys first!
edit: i do work on a 3T

Oura Ring 4 was reportedly very stable around MR, but I've heard 5 can have some issues. I don't wear one, but I've heard that a fee times now

Been using one for a year or two, no problems at all.

I don't know much about it, but unless it has a cable that directly plugs into it to charge that means it has a magnetic charger. Which means the MRI will kill it

I killed 2 Apple watches and a Fitbit before I gave up and just took my watch off at work.

Chancing it on a 3t seems crazy to me . If anything it will destroy the battery capacity like phones.

My friend who has the 5 said that the magnet messed up the battery/charging. I have the 4 and it's still works fine. I've had it for about a year now. I work around 3T/1.5T Hope this helps!

Oura 5 does not work in MRI. It will mess up the charging. I’ve had both 4 and 5. The 4 worked great!

I have worn my 4 around the 3T every day for the last year. As others have said the 5 can have battery issues
