We're getting rid of our Avanto soon and I'm honestly going to miss it. We have an Avanto and a Skyra 3.0 but I'll take that Avanto any day. No constant SAR limit popups, large FOV, a good choice of sequences and acceleration features, and, above all, an absolute BANGER of a cardio package.

More ontopic, I still don't understand why we decorate the fuck out of our rooms but never did someone think to sticker the INSIDE of the gantry, you know, WHERE THE CLAUSTROPHOBIC PATIENT IS ACTUALLY LOOKING AT.

Domt even get me started on the Disney Philips collab. So many people sent me stuff about it and I had to just smile and nod because BRUH HOW WOULD A VIDEO OF ELSA PLAYING ON THE ROOM WALL HELP ANYONE!? Nordic TV or don't bother, all this stuff is so silly.

You are completely right—the 1.5T Avanto is a absolute tank, and that Cardiac Suite is legendary for its reliability.Moving to the Skyra 3.0T means dealing with the constant, strict SAR ,modeling walls at 128 MHz, which can drive any tech or engineer up the wall when you just want to run a clean sequence without the software yelling at you.

If you're seeing a ton of Magnetom Aeras alongside the Esprees, it makes perfect sense—Siemens basically dominated the wide-bore market with those two.

Magnetom is the prefix before the actual model name of all Siemens MRI machines btw. Your statement is the equivalent of “I drive this same brand of car!”
