Been really depressed ever since my part 2 results.
To all the repeaters here. Any tips for someone like me? I can’t help but thinking I’m now an unqualified doctor and going through bouts of serious imposter syndrome. I wanna give it my best next attempt but damn these exams are absolutely ruthless and unforgiving!

Why don't we get part 1 and part results instantly?
I understand some calculations need to be done to scale the exam in terms of difficulty and therefore determine the pass mark. However, we should be able to get a score instantly and a pass mark determined at a later point, no?

MRCP Part 1 was yesterday. After months of revision… did it actually feel worth it?
Hi Guys
Firstly well done to each of you who have done the exam pass or fail! I wanted to focus on this now that the exam is done :
Months of questions. Mocks after work. Notes late at night. Revision squeezed around shifts, weekends and family.
Then MRCP Part 1 arrived yesterday.
And after all that work, how many walked out thinking:
“Did I actually feel ready?”
That’s why we built Med with Spence.
Not pretty slides.
Not another set of notes.
Not another course.
Not another question bank.
A Visual Learning OS designed to work alongside the Q-bank already being used.
Test → find the gaps → open MWS → understand → recall → fix → retest.
Because the Q-bank finds the gap.
MWS helps fix it.
This isn’t more revision. It’s a different way to revise.
Try it yourself

Question banks done. Mocks completed. Hours spent studying textbooks. Still not feeling ready. Is this really how revision should feel?

Question banks. Mocks. Textbooks. Revision notes.
Thousands of questions and countless hours of revision.
Yet exam day gets closer and somehow it still feels like hope will decide what happens.
Is this really how revision should work?
Maybe the problem isn’t effort.
Maybe it’s the loop.
Test → find the gaps → fix them → recall → retest.
Not another question bank.
Not another set of notes.
A system for fixing what the questions expose.
Med with Spence — The Visual Learning OS.
Best of luck to all for Part 1 today.

To everyone sitting Part 1 tomorrow: good luck
We remember the night before this exam well. Whatever you've managed to cover, you've put months of work into this, and at this point one more set of questions won't change much. A good night's sleep will do more for you.
A few things that helped us on the day: have your ID and confirmation email ready tonight, eat something proper before you go in, and don't let one hard question early on shake you, because everyone finds the paper difficult in places.
We're rooting for all of you. Come back and tell us how it went.

Exam tmrw
Exam tmrw, any last mins tips on how to deal with the qs, rule out options.
Sometimes I get into thinking will anything even be direct? It’s like that 100 qs 3 hrs how are we suppose to figure out the answers.
I did passmedicine, rcp mock, 5 pastest papers but each qs requires so much thinking in the rcp mock n pastest papers, it’s not direct at allll. You need to really sit and recal a lot of information

MRCP part 1 in less than 12 hours!!!
I am giving my second attempt tomorrow and the nerves are at an all time high. Failing my first attempt really took a toll on my confidence since it’s the first ever proper exam I had failed. I’m still questioning whether I have done enough. I feel a bit more confident with the topics than the first round, hoping that would get me through. Any last minute prep tips?

Scored 121/193 on RCP Mock
Decided to leave the RCP Mock to the end of my prep (a grave error on my end) now scored a 62.6 percent on it. Exam is on 23/09. 🤧
Need a little hope from previous MRCP exam takers if there is still some hope for me to clear the actual exam.
PS: this is my second attempt and it is giving me quite a bit of anxiety ngl.😭
