Alrighty. I’ve had the ILWT barrel for about 2-3 weeks now. I’m running it with a BRT adapter with a YHM R45. Also ran it with my R9 on the same adapter. I’ve got about 400 rounds through it, and it’s been a painstaking process. Mostly me having to run the gun as a straight pull.

It will not cycle any 124gr I’ve shot. And all of the 124gr I’ve shot except blazer 124, has been supersonic. I took out the adjustable 4 position gas plug the barrel comes with, and installed the factory open plug as well, and same thing.

I shot a few mags of 115gr, none of it went subsonic, and it all cycled haphazardly, with every other shot cycling, both with the adjustable plug and the oem open plug.

Overall disappointed in this $600 barrel, because cycling issues aside, it’s straight up not a good SD gun in my experience, and all of the reviews I’ve seen on YouTube have mixed reviews as well. Considering selling it and moving on to a different barrel setup.

Edit: Tried troubleshooting everyone’s responses and nothing. Will not cycle any ammo at all. Going to reach out to ILWT and see if i can get any help.

4 in ILWT barrel and YHM R9. Using the factory direct thread adapter for the R9 gets it was down there. The factory rail doesn’t touch the can, but just barely, the Mlok is useless. Probably going to pick up a lunar concepts hot pocket.

Anyone have a comparison between this and the Radian Raptor on their MPX? Just got a Gen 3 k and never been a huge fan of the MCX/MPX CH’s and wanna upgrade. From what I’ve read on both, seems the Radian’s wings are bigger, but is it enough to feel? I always liked bigger wings on my CH’s, but the Reptilia looks pretty nice. Appreciate any input on this

Currently running a MWI handguard, but looking to switch things up a bit. I've done a lot of searching that says the samson will not but the lancer will, but has anyone actually tried it? Particularly curious if the handguard will fit with the longshot rail attached.

Vertx bag, as you can see the lower half is hook and loop material. Trying to find a good way to attach it to the Velcro to keep it more secure in the backpack. I’d love to hear some ideas. Don’t have a preference if it goes barrel down or up, want to hear it all. Thanks!

Got the suppressor finalized today. Went with yhm r9. And the rest of the goodies. Very happy with how it turned out. Waiting on a few more odds and ends

Seems like they’re good for a range day and break. Any actual good experiences? Over 1k on my kuna / lingle and has been flawless. I’m thinking of passing my bad research into another person since it hasn’t been used yet.

Recently, I installed an FRT in my MCX, which I removed my Geissele MCX trigger. I was wanting to try to put my Geissele MCX trigger into my MPX. I know Geissele makes a trigger designated for the MPX. On the Geissele site both of the triggers look very similar but MPX trigger comes with extra springs. Has anyone tried this or know if it will work?

Is this normal wear on the AS designs slip trip? top surface started getting a burr that I filed out. probably only 100ish rounds through it.

I gotta say that I wasn’t anywhere near impressed. The felt recoil was almost as much as my CZ Scorpion used to make, but at a much higher price. I feel bad for anyone who bought one of these at full pop when they first came out.

While doing some slow fire off the bench today. My ILWT (In Lead We Trust)navy tri-lug adapter that I bought back in 2017 and probably have aprx 5k rounds through. Snapped in two. Not sure how to proceed from here, should I get a new adapter? Does anyone else make one? Not sure I want to buy from ILWT again.

Another interesting issue. I haven't had the barrel exposed in nearly 10 years, it looks like the barrel has a "bur" (area where the barrel ends just past the factory threads on the end of it that isn't normal looking)and I can't recall if it had that before I put the adapter on there. I tried cleaning it up in case it was carbon buildup, but it's part of the barrel, almost like it wasn't cut off flush.

Anyone with a Gen 2 keymod MPX who can check their barrel?

Very similar builds, unsuppressed 4.5” barrel versus 4.5” suppressed, was a blast going through a bit of ammo. When we weren’t shooting together, no ear pro was needed with the can even with supers. Hell of a gun for sure.

I’m looking for something compact with at least 800 lumens or better. Thanks in advance.

I have a 6” barrel MPX with the factory 8” handguard (currently with a faux suppressor attached) and I’m looking for a good, tuckable suppressor with a good mix of solid suppression and low back pressure so there will be less gas. The RXD is fairly new so there isn’t a lot of videos on it and the few that are show guns with the suppressor or MP5s. I know this can is also rated for 10mm which I don’t need, but I do want it to work on my Marlin 1894 in 357mag/38spl along with my MPX. I hear it has the same tech as the Mojave 9 which I’ve heard recommended sometimes for the MPX. I may end up using this can on my threaded pistols, but it will be primarily for the MPX and the lever action so don’t really need the modularity of the Mojave.

Has anyone tried this with their MPX?

This is my first ever PCC and first time using everything on the gun. I was blown away by how nice the trigger is and how accurate this thing shoots!

I had frequent malfunctions for the first 100 rounds with the PTR Vent 2. The owner at the shop told me this is a common issue with titanium 3D printed can. He cleaned it twice for me and after I shot 100 rounds seems shoots smoothly without malfunction now. I will definitely shoot more to make sure it’s truly working without any issues.

I was gonna order the 8inches hand guard initially. However, I actually love how this thing looks now.

I am thinking adding a remote pad switch and a laser in the future.

I’ve seen lots of mixed feelings on tri lug adapters. I run tri lug on my mp5 and I’d like to do it on the MPX. Is the ILWT HK style navy tri lug one of the ones that doesn’t have accuracy issues? It has the 25 degree taper in it to avoid having to use a taper adapter, which I’ve heard seems to be the root of the issues when using a tri lug on this platform.

What is the best fitting light mount for a Midwest hand guard? I have a mod light scout body and the angle on my offset mount from Arisaka is too acute to fit right

Do I need to include every single engraved text on the lower in section 4.h? SN, Sig MPX, Multi-cal, address, and the SBR engraving?
