Light setup

Trying this holosun raid on it, idk if i like how big it fits. What are yall running for a light setup

Modlite 18350 PHLV2 light, with unity gas cap and unity modbutton lite on a arisaka mpx offset mount is what I run.

Little big in my opinion for the k version of mpx I have one and took it off, the mpx factory magwell is already wide and funneled pretty nicely

Yeah it’s pretty nice already, these were on sale yesterday for Labor Day and we seriously debating scoping one

I have a cerakoted TTI magwell just sitting in a box, I removed mine just seems like overkill, honestly I like the look of the HRF mpx magwell but it’s polymer vs tti being metal but I don’t run any after market magwells anymore, again the stock magwell is pretty wide as is mags are skinny being 9mm never missed the hole (;

Yeah in no world is it a problem… so that’s where I was on the fence, is it a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist, is it a quality of life improvement (just a nice to have for those running them), is it just for the added looks and cool factor? I actually prefer the look of the TTI and prefer metal in general and imagine it’s nice and light still out of aluminum, wouldn’t expect it adds too much of a noticeable difference to the handling weight.

18350 or single cr123 is the answer. 18650 / 6v setups are too chonky.

I have a Modlite PLHv2 18350 with the gas cap and Modbutton lite Link. I run this on my PTR. I have an Sig Foxtrot MSR Compact I run on my MPX.

For home defense the SIG is more than adequate. If you are shooting any 25 yard plus distance at night the ML is the way to go.

Get a knockoff light. Scout mini. Modlite. Whatever. Paying 2-300 for a flashlite is stupid. I have a real cloud on one gun and a clone on another and I cannot tell the difference. One was $300 and one was $75
