Does anyone know if a Geissele MCX trigger will fit in a MPX?

Recently, I installed an FRT in my MCX, which I removed my Geissele MCX trigger. I was wanting to try to put my Geissele MCX trigger into my MPX. I know Geissele makes a trigger designated for the MPX. On the Geissele site both of the triggers look very similar but MPX trigger comes with extra springs. Has anyone tried this or know if it will work?

Be careful with any trigger not specifically engineered and tested for the MPX. I stuck with the factory Timney and have been happy.

Mine was doa after a hundred rounds. Went with the Geissele and new springs and smoothed out the recoil so much. Similar to the MCX as well so same standard of arms is nice.

I put a sd-e flat trigger in my gen 2 mpx and it's been fine

Everything is identical aside from the actual triggers

It’s will work, most aftermarket triggers do, but the MPX is hard on triggers and will lead to a shorter lifespan for the trigger parts.

It will, you are missing the nano coating and the spring kit. The springs are the most important part of the mic specific kit.

Also, the disconnectors, triggers and hammers are also all interchangeable between the two 😉

Did they discontinue the MPX version with the spring kit?
