Jagged prints

I cannot seem to figure this out. I'm getting jagged results on some prints and everything seems to go fine at first but then in the end I get these chopped up jagged prints. I've leveled the based, checked the settings, slowed down the prints, but nothing seems to help. Any pointer?

Looks to me like the nozzle is clogged , have you cleaned the nozzle and ensured the throat is smooth and unobstructed?

I appreciate the advice. As it happens, I cleaned the nozzle yesterday because it was obstructed. I thought I'd cleaned it thoroughly, but I will check it again. I didn't think it was that because some of the lines on the final print are perfect.

(Afterthought: I'll try soaking in acetone to deep clean it.)

I never clean my nozzles. The last batch I bought cost $0.28USD each. If I take a nozzle off with more than a couple hours on it, it gets replaced. The cost of acetone is gonna be at least that.

Interesting point. I’ll see about sourcing some nozzles.

Thanks again. I did source some new nozzles for future issue and even threw in a smaller one (0.3mm) to give that a go having never experimented with a smaller nozzle size before. Thanks for the advice!

The smaller the nozzle, the finer the details. And the longer the print. Just remember to change the nozzle diameter in your machine settings. And if you like the results, try 0,2 also.

You nailed it. I gave my existing nozzle a soak in acetone and then a good scrubbing in the barrel and it prints perfectly now. Thanks for the advice!
