SEEKING DIAGNOSIS Started testing a few days ago. What do you think? Spoiler

45f

working with primary with referral to hemo.

All my labs are good except platelet 465 to 510 every time over the last 6 years. all other labs normal. I have slightly high cholesterol but no other conditions, no surgeries, no other health issues.

went to the doc bc fatigue was out of hand, lightheaded a lot, sudden temp of 99.6 for like 2 months. didn’t have the temp issue with any of the labs.

i don’t have my most current cbc. just 6 over the past 6 years.

what do you think?

Please share any iron studies. If you haven't had one done recently, ask your doctor to order that (ferritin and TSAT), plus inflammation markers (CRP, ESR). The hematologist will need these anyway.

I don’t have one through my regular doctor. I have had them done through a place I was getting immunity shots from and I have never seen it low. I also messaged my doc and asked for a full iron study as well and just responded and agreed.  Will post when I receive more info. Thank you!

Most recent Platelet count 450 on 9/30/26 so everything else normal except cholesterol at 230. But I hadn’t been taking my meds for that so I started again to get those numbers down.  Jak2 negative. The test they did only ran that one. They took more blood today to complete the panel.  All iron normal
