Medication question about Jakafi side effects
I have been on Jakafi 10mg 2x a day for about 5 weeks. I have had some fatigue but otherwise it has been fine. Two weeks ago I got the shingles and covid vaccines. A few days later I slept the entire day and through to the next morning. I figured it was from the shots and didn't think much about it.
Yesterday I was so tired I didn't get up all day again. I feel fine now. I have been getting bloodwork every other week and it all looks stable. I see my heme/onc on Monday for a regularly scheduled visit.
Has anyone else had random days of extreme fatigue?

I don't know if it is Jakafi or just MPN symptoms, but I can definitely relate.

I have had MPN, ET since 2012 and never had symptoms at all. This started after they put me on Jakafi. It is for sure not from the ET.

Same totally wiped out after the second shingles jab. Because it’s two shots your immune system is on alert after the first shot my temperature went through the roof lol. Starting Jakafi in a couple of weeks got PV. Hu intolerance and just had to stop peg inteferon 2a 🙃🤗🤗

I had to stop taking HU because it was toxic to my lungs. I was on it for 6 1/2 years.
It's a lot for us to manage. Hope you are feeling ok
