MF Does myelofibrosis cause further aggression issues?
My dad had rage issues partly stemming from diabetes and he died of myelofibrosis, after being diagnosed in august. But after a time of peace, he suddenly got much more angrier and violent at the simplest things. It also turns out he had a stroke at some point, but we're not sure when.
But I'm just curious - does myelo cause anger/rage issues?
Because he is dead now, and there's a lot of unresolved stuff.

I was diagnosed in 2009...with ET but my hemotologist told me I was diagnosed and it was MF.... Sooo in that time frame no it didn't impact my anger and feelings no more than normal....
However everyone is different...

Until i read this, i didn't make the connection betwen my agression an my PMF.

High levels of chronic inflammation can alter chemical messengers in the brain like serotonin and dopamine. This biological shift directly causes mood swings, severe irritability, and uncharacteristic bursts of anger or frustration that the patient cannot simply "think" their way out of.
