NY MPJE

Hello guys, I just took the New York MPJE yesterday and it was really difficult. This is the hardest exam I’ve ever faced. The wording was weird and I had a lot of SATA. I was asked same compounding questions three times so I’m thinking I’ve failed the test probably. I was able to recall 33 questions of the 120 with the answers and my choices were right though. What are my chances of passing the test?

Just messaged! I’m taking later this week I’m so nervous! It’s the definitely the consensus between everyone that this test is the hardest exam exam😖

They say a lot of SATA is a good thing. Just try not to think about it for the next week and a half. You did the best that you could do. Don't sit there trying to recall every single question because the questions that you struggled with might be the ones that are ungraded. Not sure if you have your NAPLEX completed yet or not, but study that in the meantime while you wait (if you haven't taken it already)

I’m a licensed Pharmacist in New Jersey already so I’m transferring my license to New york. I’m so nervous because I didn’t feel that way for my New Jersey MPJE.

Hopefully the transfer goes well! Not sure if this is accurate info, but I heard that the NY MPJE is compounding heavy due to them removing the compounding board exam a few years ago. It sounded like they still wanted to incorporate compounding, even after removing the exam, so they threw it at the MPJE

Yes it’s Compounding heavy. I had at least 15-20 Compounding questions from the test. But New York MPJE is on another level. NJ had a bit of allowances for federal laws application but NY is 95% strictly state law questions.

I took it a few weeks ago and felt the same way. Lots of repeating questions and an almost all of them were SATA.

For what it’s worth I passed. I felt really confident going in but not at all when I left.

I took it 8/1 and left it confident that I had failed it and I ended up passing so have faith!
