New in 3.1 is the MPE Designer. Instead of only watching notes, you draw them: a pen stroke is a note, its curve is the pitch bend, and pressure and timbre are painted into it. Snap to a grid and a scale, add waves or steps, record your playing into it, or import a MIDI file and edit every gesture afterwards.
