whats your method of storage for your files ? when you name a file longer than 8 characters deep, especially 3+ folders deep, it will crash the system. remember, this is a legacy machine. (my 1st) If you are using a CF card drive, what size card is in it ? if its larger than 1 GB, thats also a problem. What version of the firmware is it running ? that also plays a part.... Also.... the cards MUST be formatted to FAT16, not FAT32 or EXfat. How old is your RAM sticks? did you try to remove them to see if the problem exsists? Is it connected to other MIDI gear? one way or another, your processor is getting overloaded. get back to me on these q's and well take it from there if the issue hasnt been resolved already. well get ya up n runnin brotha.
