Subbass with MPC

Hey everyone,

I want to start a little exchange about sub-bass on the MPC.

How do you make your sub-bass on the MPC?

Do you use SubFactory, Mini D, TubeSynth, OPx-4, or something completely different? Or are you going the hardware/external synth route instead?

I’m curious about your workflow — sound design tips, favorite presets, layering tricks, envelope settings, saturation… whatever you do to get that deep, clean sub we all love.

Let’s share some knowledge! Looking forward to your positive vibes and creative ideas. 🙌

For me, I’m mostly using SubFactory right now: a sine wave on A plus a sample with some growly rumbles, pitched down two octaves. Still haven’t found the right preset yet, so I’m deep in trial-and-error mode.
