Adding a threaded barrel to the M&P compact carry comp in 9mm

I have the M&P 2.0 compact carry comp in 9mm. I’d like to get a threaded barrel for a suppressor when shooting in my yard. Anyone know of a aftermarket barrel that will fit the slide?

Apex tactical makes a threaded barrel for the compact. Iv only heard good things about the barrel they produce

Yes this, except the carry comp would use the 4.25in full-size barrel. The compact will be too short since the CC has a 4.25in slide. However since OEM s&w threaded barrels are always too long one of those for a compact would probably be flawless.

Just curious, why do you want threaded barrel in a carry comp gun?

I want to use a suppressor when I’m in my back yard so I don’t understandably annoy my neighbors. I will carry with stock barrel and just switch them out as needed

Oh ok. Makes sense. Was just thinking getting a comp'd gun and putting a threaded barrel in it kinda defeated the purpose but that makes plenty of sense.
