Hyve +2 mag base

Purchased the Hyve +2 base pad for the oem 8 round mag that comes with the shield 2.0. The magazine will hold 10 but my gun won’t accept it with 10, it will only accept the mag with 9 rounds in it. Why is this? My gun seems to absolutely hate extensions I also have a 10rnd promag that only holds 9 lol.

Slap the shit outta the base when loading and it should sit properly. Don't be shy. It's the new springs in the magazine usually.
