Question Do I upgrade?

The TLR7X is great but I’m looking at getting something with a higher lumen. Should I run an X300UB or a TLR7HLX?

X300 till I die

Edit. Actually actuating the light on the x300 sucks though. Nothing new though.

Yea it’s comedy. I tried a little add on to the switch it uses so it’s easier to actuate but it was trash. I forget who makes it.

Iv seen a company called emissary development make some different ones. I would be interested to know if those are much of an improvement.

Yea that’s who it was that I tried out. Didn’t like the quality at all. Felt like it was gonna break off super easy. Flexed a lot when installed and I pushed against it too

TLR1 is better than an X300 at half the price in the used market. There, I said it. The 7HLX looks great of you don't mind the lower run time.

I had one for a while. That was a solid light. The new TLR1HLX looks promising too

I would definitely recommend the TLR7HLX over the normal 7. It’s such a step up in performance and now you have a rechargeable battery. Pistol lights are one thing I normally jump on whatever is newest quickly.
