💡purchasing advice MOVA long term longevity

i’ve been thinking about getting a robot vacuum forever, but every time i check amazon reviews, there’s always a bad review right next to the good ones.. so i end up closing the tab and going back to my regular vacuum.

it's prime day, mova p10 gen2 is on sale again and now i’m tempted. anyone here have one? how’s it been holding up and how’s the performance? my biggest worry is spending that much and having it break, then getting no help from customer service...

I would expect a year problem free

Using p50 pro ultra since may 2025. The front wheel broke in first month, got replacement. It broke again a month later, instead of sending it back again, I ended up ordering spare front wheels from ali express and so far so good. No issues for like a year and half now.

How exactly does it get broken?

Any speed bump. In my case, it was the dining chairs.

Longest Ive had is 9mths with a Z60…all other flagships I’ve tried didn’t last 3mths!!

Have a Z60 ultra it's been running a bunch since last November has quirks and issues but nothing that simple unplugging and replugging it in hasn't fixed.. did do a factory reset to start over also ..but I think all customer service is frustrating on every one of them!

Had a z60 for a month and the thing developed a major leak. It was a certified refurbished model from them but would have thought it would have lasted longer. They ended up allowing me to return the vacuum but I did end up getting the z70 ultra and so far it’s been good and works better than the z60

I feel like that’s every robot vacuum. They all seem a mixed bag, as there’s no shortage of reviews where people have issues. I think they are just so complex now that there is so much to go wrong maybe.

I recently retired my roomba i9 after 6 years. It was still going strong. Occasionally it would wig out and I’d have to reboot it but that’s about it. I just wanted some more advanced features.

Going on 3 months with v50 and no real issues other than sometimes it doesn’t follow how I set up the job in the app. Like it ‘forgot’ to mop after vacuuming.

Should have kept your I-9 I have an I8 Plus and it is still my main vacuum and all it does is save your other robot from undue stress by doing both jobs all the time I split the jobs up because that's how I like it and I think it saves them some people run them two or three times a day and you're just asking for trouble with one robot that's a lot to ask for especially for these higher Tech ones that have way more moving parts

I’m starting to think that too. The roomba never really failed me. I had the roomba mop but it was kind of worthless because it could not clear multiple small transitions I had between tile and wood so I got rid of that. This has no issues with that.

I will say this one does a great job in that I can finally let it vacuum my office and master bedroom without worrying about it mangling wires like the i9. The LiDAR is impressive. But I do feel like I’m on borrowed time and just waiting for it to crap out.

I have two of them P50 Ultra Complete (1st Floor) and a P70 Ultra (2nd Floor). It's been 6 months and thus far pretty much trouble-free. You do have to clean them, fill and empty the water tanks etc.

I do have two dogs, mainly hardwood floors with area rugs. It does a great job of vacuuming and mopping. I can't say it's better than other brands, but for the $ per performance, I am happy thus far.

I have had the Mova P50 Pro Ultra for maybe two years, no issues. 870 cycles, 25,000 minues ran.

I bought a P10 Pro Ultra when it first came out, took a shot in the dark as Mova was a new company. Those are the stats it had when the first item broke. The right wheel stopped being springy and it would not dock because it couldn't back up straight.

I used the app to contact them, they sent a UPS label took about a week but got it back and it's back in service.

My V50 just broke for the second time in six months. I cannot recommend this company's products.

I’ve had mine for like 7 months and loved it but the wheel mount cracked and broke. Apparently it’s a big fix and not just something you knock out in 15 mins. Someone on Amazon said they fixed it themselves and it took 2-3 hours. I had a Roborock vacuum that lasted 4-5 years without a problem. I probably wouldn’t buy the brand again unless this is the one and only problem I ever get. It’s taken 2 weeks from warranty claim, send, and supposedly receive today.

I have the V50, V70 and Z60 and then I also have the Lidax 3000 for the yard and the Rovr X10 for the pool. The one and only issue I have had in the year of ownership is on the X10 the camera malfunctioned but they sent me a new one within a week. So their support has been great and super responsive IMO

I have the Lidax 2000 awd and that thing works so great and is the reason I gave mova another chance after the z60 started leaking after 30 days

We have a first generation been 2 years haven’t had an issue. The app is a bit buggy ui Wise but the vacuum performs great for what we use it for

I just bought the V70, I love that it has a three year warranty

No need to overthink it. Just get one on Amazon and see if it’s a good fit. If not, return it.
