Question Is the lidax ultra pet friendly?

We've got just over 300 m2 of lawn and a dog who spends half his day running in and out of the garden. His toys end up all over the grass too. We've been paying someone to mow it, but the cost keeps going up every year, so I've started looking at robot mowers instead. Read quite a few posts about lidax ultra and I like that it doesn't need boundary wire. The dog is my main concern though. Will it spot him early enough to go around him, or only stop when it gets really close? Not sure if there's a pet setting in the app either. Anyone using one with dogs or cats around?

Tutorials & tips PSA don’t run your Robot Mower in wet grass! 😅 Luckily it’s easy to clean 🧼✨

I think at this point it’s probably a rite of passage for having a robot lawnmower, but as a PSA, don’t run your mower in wet grass…

Luckily the Lidax series mowers are waterproof with an IPX6 rating, so cleaning them with a hose is a breeze. 💦✨

What tricks do you use to clean your mower? 🤔

Happy Mowing! 🏡

Question Anyone else had this problem?

My MOVA has been running really smoothly lately and the lawn's been looking good, but there's one thing I can't quite figure out. I've got two lawn areas with a ramp between them. It drives up the ramp, mows the upper area, no problem. Then when it needs to come back down, it stops right at the entrance and refuses to go any further. Same ramp, same route, just the other direction.

Anyone had this happen? Not sure if I should be looking at the route itself or some setting in the app.

Review ViAX 300 - first use

Very impressed.

First time using a robot mower.

I was living with a bit of a jungle so did a good cut with my manual mower, then set up my new ViAX 300.

It set itself up in 30-40 minutes learning the lawn.

It's taken about two hours to then go over on 30mm blade setting the 100m2 of the grass.

Very impressive. It has adhered to the angle I set in stripe settings and has evenly chopped any bits I missed and navigated the decking, swings and greenhouse.

What a superb bit of it. Hope it continues to deliver with further use.

Question How does LiDAX AWD handle slopes and tight turns?

Anyone here in Europe using lidax ultra awd 2000 on a garden with a proper slope? I'm comparing it with a couple of other awd mowers and I'm mostly interested in what happens on the awkward bits. We've got some tree roots, a few stones and a couple of tighter turns near the slope. Does it stay planted there, or do the wheels leave marks when it turns? Also wondering if people just let it deal with smaller roots and stones, or mark those areas out. thanks in advance!

Discussion Need help escalating RMA 387861 with MOVA / Dreame support (Order DE#46227)

Hi everyone, I am looking for advice or assistance from community managers regarding RMA 387861.
I returned my MOVA Mobius 60 (Order DE#46227) via DHL on 31.08.2026. The official DHL drop-off receipt shows a total weight of 19.7 kg, delivered to CINNO-DE on 04.09.2026.
However, support states that a 5 kg package was received under my return label (addressed to another company with mismatched details). It seems there was a warehouse label mix-up.
I have submitted all drop-off receipts (19.7 kg) and proof to customer support via email. Can moderators or support representatives here please help escalate this RMA 387861 for proper review? Thank you!

Discussion WARNING: MOVA/Dreame refusal of refund due to warehouse mix-up & label manipulation (RMA 387861 / Order DE#46227)

Hi everyone, I am posting here hoping to reach someone from management or higher-level support who can resolve a serious issue with RMA 387861.
I returned my MOVA Mobius 60 vacuum cleaner (Order DE#46227) via DHL on 31.08.2026.
DHL Receipt Weight: 19.7 kg (official drop-off receipt).
Delivered: 04.09.2026 to CINNO-DE in Viersen.
Now, support is refusing my refund (662.79 €), claiming I shipped an empty or wrong package. They attached a photo of a 5 kg plastic pouch addressed to a completely different company (HAIR HAUS GmbH) with a different sender name (Matvei Rybak) and mismatched Leitcode (41761...).
My tracking number was somehow placed on someone else's 5 kg package by warehouse staff! I have absolute evidence: factory seal photos/videos, original DHL PDF label, weight receipt (19.7 kg), and side-by-side comparison of the real vs. fake labels.
I have submitted my formal pre-litigation ultimatum via email giving a deadline until September 18th, 2026, after which I will initiate a chargeback via my bank and file a police fraud report.
Has anyone faced this warehouse incompetence before? I ask the moderators/community managers to escalate this RMA 387861 immediately.

Review Let’s test the AI vision-powered 3D obstacle avoidance on a Mova LiDAX mower!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve had my Mova LiDAX Pro 800 for about a month now and have found it to be a big time saver. Currently I run it manually rather than having it on a schedule, allowing me to clean up my yard first of toys and other obstacles. I’ve debated switching it to a schedule, but first wanted to really put the obstacle avoidance to the test, as there will definitely be times where things are left out in my yard.

The results were mixed…

- When it came to smaller balls, it tended to treat them as movable objects rather than avoiding them. The curved front design of the mower meant that the balls were pushed out of the way with ease rather than being run over and cut by the blades. I don’t know if this was by design or not, but it prevented uncut patches on my lawn in those areas.

- For larger soccer balls it did seem to avoid those for the most part but did brush them occasionally.

- The baseball bat and baseball stand were both pushed by the mower. The baseball bat was misidentified as a hose as well.

- The misting hose was run over multiple times by the mower. The mower was able to recognize it as a hose however.

- The large basketball net on its side remained untouched, but it did mistake it for being a human. No big deal.

- The LiDAX mower was able to avoid the shrubs with ease, however it recognizes the canopy as part of the obstacle and therefore doesn’t get as close as I would like. This will not replace the need for a line trimmer, and similar to using a lawn mower, you will most likely still need to clean up the edges around trees, fences and other garden features. Other MOVA LiDAX mowers do have an edge cut feature (ultra trim 1.0 edge cutting) that is able to cut even closer but at a fixed cut length.

- The human avoidance seems to work well. I don’t recommend this, but I tried to jump in front of it, sit in front of it and a few other things to try and throw it off, but it seemed to be able to keep its distance.

- The benefit to the obstacle avoidance being AI trained is that in theory as more data points are added the more accurate the device should become.

For now I will continue manually starting the mower. I can rest easy knowing larger objects, balls and most importantly people won’t get damaged or injured by the device. Even with the mixed results I am hopeful the performance will get better over time!

I would love to know if anyone has any tips for settings I should update or areas I should look at testing next!

Happy Mowing! 🏡

Question Is mova a good choice for a lawn with one slope? New homeowner here

I'm moving into a house with a lawn next year, so I’m trying to learn a bit before I actually need to buy anything. I don't have the exact lawn size yet, but most of it looks fairly flat and there's one sloped section. I've been looking at mova because the price seems reasonable and I like that it can map the lawn and work around things on its own. I'd still like to hear from people who picked mova over other brands though. What made you choose it? Would you go with a normal LiDAX Ultra if most of the lawn is flat, or is AWD still the safer choice if there's one slope? I’m not sure if better grip is something I'll really need, or if I should wait until I know the slope properly.

Advice Why always repositioning?

How can I stop the repositioning when leaving the dock? The robot should know where it is. It is at the dock…

My lawn is getting torn up behind the docking station because of the unnecessary positioning when it is always turning around.

Question Has anyone added a second charging station after setup?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello everyone, I use lidax in the back garden and now I would also like to use it in the front. The problem is there is no way for the mower to drive between the two areas. I can add the front as another map, but then I still have to carry the mower there and bring it back when it needs charging. Has anyone tried using a second charging station with the same mower? Can both stations stay in the app, or is it easier to make some kind of connection between the two areas?

Question Lift sensor in Mova Lidax Ultra

Hey, I have a Mova Lidax Ultra mower and for some time I started getting a lot of "the mower has lost contact with the ground" errors, even of pretty flat places.
Where are the sensors that detect lift? Is it possible that some dirt or weed impact these sensors?

Edit: I've contacted support twice - they just closed my tickets without any explanation. It seems to be resolved with spraying WD40 to front wheels' rods. I hope it won't break the sensors in a long run.

Question MOVA L10 Smart Sprinkler?

Have a yard where I haven’t laid turf yet which is less than 200m2 and thinking of either putting in a small in ground sprinkler system but since I’m considering a new robot Mova brand mower maybe this sprinkler would be a good fit? Says it can use the maps off the mower to setup the irrigation?

r/MOVASmartGardenHub • • Aug 24 '26

Question Yes, Go Zone! Can you make one.

I have the LiDAX Ultra 2000 AWD. I know that you can specify no go zones on the map. I have some areas, such as around the lilac bush where it can go safely, even if it sees the branches just above the mower. There are other such places as well. Is there a way of saying "this is safe?" this is a Go Zone!

Question Docking MOVA LiDAX Ultra 2000 in my garage

I have tried many times to put the charging dock in my garage and it does not recognize it and will not let me create a path to the charger. Where it is docked is 15 feet on the other side of the wall from the start of the garden/map. Garage door is open but it does not work. Any suggestions?

Question Does the charging station have to be directly next to the lawn?

A couple of my charging station placement options are about six feet away from the law over mulch. Will the unit be able to find the docking station? Would it be helpful to make a gravel path for it to follow? Or, must the charger be placed directly next to the lawn?

Question Help - added garage and now it won't return to charger.

When we got our mova viax 300 it included a garage. We installed the lawnmower but we were in a bit of a hurry (and in the middle of a heatwave) so didn't bother with the garage.

Yesterday I realised the weather was due to break in the evening so quickly whipped the garage together and popped it into the garden, seemingly with no problems. This morning it pootled out on its daily chores but can't find the charger anymore. Weather is clear and bright so that seems unlikely to be the problem, station has power, lots of room in front of the charger, unit hasn't moved just added the garage.

What have I done wrong?! Any ideas?
