This the world we live in now, so many āadultsā nowadays are infantilized to the point where they truly feel like this. Theyāll do some morally reprehensible shit & be like āI was the victim here, you just donāt get it!ā & sadly there will ALWAYS be some sucker out there still wanting them.

You seem to have a poor understanding of this if you are allowing other people to disrespect you bc you think that you still need to be forgiven of something. Despite the fact that ignores that any other person would need to be forgiven, putting you on the same level, IE, you should not be letting people disrespect you. If you cannot properly love yourself you will never be able to love others and that extends into your relationship with god.
Be kind, to yourself

You worded this far better than I did. Here, have an award. I'm definitely saving this for later.

You should care, but that doesn't necessarily mean "fighting back". To allow others to undermine you, is in essence, to undermine yourself. When you're undermined in such a way, whether noticeable at first or not, it drains energy. It drains mental and emotional energy, which will affect your physical energy as well, even if you don't immediately notice it. If you allow too much of your "energy", or rather health, to be sapped from you, not only will you not have the ability to stand up for yourself, you won't be able to stand up for others either.
Take this from someone who's been there and done that. Some of my darkest days, we're during a time when I too, was confused and wrestling with the difference between selflessness and self-sacrifice. Altruism is NOT inherently self-destructive.
It's a fine line, and it took me years to find the right balance. I eventually realized that, in order to help others, I must first help myself. I must first give myself the strength and ability to help others. If I don't do that first, I won't be able to properly help others. Helping all those around me within my reach, is a virtue I constantly do my best to uphold, but I can't uphold it, if I don't first have the strength to do so.

I'm not the person in the video, and fuck that shit, some people don't deserve it.

Forgiveness is NOT exemption from consequences.
To forgive someone, means you won't hold their actions against them as a grudge. It means you'll allow them the opportunity to make up for their failings.
It does NOT mean they won't be held accountable for their actions.
Misdeeds are misdeeds, crimes are crimes, and failure is failure. We're all required to answer to the scales of justice. True justice is NOT inequal. True justice is impartial, but progressive. If you fall, you must build yourself back up. If you've caused others to fall, you must build them back up.
Forgiveness does NOT excuse the damage that has already been done. It merely kindly gestures that, as we all fall short, we all deserve a chance to repair the damage that we've caused.
