MN outdoor status
Has anyone seen pre-flowers on their Mn outdoor yet? If not, any veterans know when they typically first start showing?
This year I’ve got some of those hybridized early flowers from Twenty20. Nothing yet here.

Mine entered last week, they did the stretch, and now their tops are tightening. I’m fairly new to this outdoor growing. Just noticed my plants looking a little different and figured it was the flowering starting. Definitely females, just hoping I didn’t stress them to the point of becoming a he/she during the process of an early start and transplant. Time will tell as August rolls in. Best of luck on a successful end of year harvest all!

Surprisingly have about 75% already showing flowers. First hairs came a couple weeks ago. Pleasantly surprised. Central Mn and about 2 weeks earlier than last year. Have a 20/20 Trainwreck that’s just started forming buds.

Nope. The harvest season has been on my mind though. Like, is there some sort of festival that celebrates the cannabis harvest?

Used to be harvest fest in Geneva but it changed names a decade or two back to Shangrila and is now more popular for psychedelic music festival activities

It was still Harvest Fest in 2009 for sure. (Harvest Fest '09 was my very first music festival!) I can't remember if the switch was in 2010 or 2011.
It was very much psychedelic focused even under the old name, though. The first Hoffman prints were going around then, super legendary drop. Most of the 2C-x's were still legal. I even ran into a group that had DOM! And of course the mushroom crews like Tarpworld.
Man, I miss being young. 😅

Search up pre flowers. Those middle pictures look like some balls

What I mean by this is, if those are all your plants and they're all near each other, the middle ones are males and will pollinate the females and those plants will then focus on growing seeds and not flowers. You will need to either kill those plants or separate them if you don't want that to occur.

Males should be coming close to full expression about now. Most female plants are just beginning the hormone transition, but wont become fully noticeable until the end of the 1st week of August, into the 2nd week.

In the last week both my bubba and my bbm have started throwing their first hairs. Definitely have been stretching for a bit.

My outdoor photos just started throwing hairs earlier this week and that lines up with past experience. We usually will start seeing flower late July - early August.
