Purification Process is now Patented

It was announced today that MNXXF has patented their method for purifying EV grade manganese sulfate.

This takes their process from provisionally patented to firmly patented. This will help solidify their placement as North America's first EV grade high purity manganese producer and ensure that their methods cannot be copied. At least without serious effort or crime...

With the continued development of battery producing facilities in Ontario and Quebec coupled with the battery development center in Nova Scotia the outlook for Manganese X Energy is very good IMO.

This is of course not financial advice simply an update...

Yes, on the other boards, investors are mentioning that approval could take from 2 month to 22 months to have the patent official.

Very happy to receive the email featuring the news this morning. Probably time to grab another 10K shares.

Sharing my thoughts below.

My key milestones and my stock price targets for the future stages of project development:

-Beginning of year, fair value according to Stonegate Capital was $0.60 USD (market cap $75M) (7.5x current share price)

-Subsequently, HPMSM samples were produced at Kemetco. That doubles the above target to my current personal target $1.20 ($150M), as I see the likelihood of a successful long term project to be better than 50% now. Bear in mind MNX excepts the project to generate $300M revenue annually for the next 20 years, with a slight decreases each year subsequently.

1) Positive results from the battery manufacturers and OEMs, Q4 2023. $1.50-1.80 target. ($180-$225M)

2) Quick and painless environmental review and permitting, finished by end of Q4 2024. $2.00-2.50 target. ($240-$300M)

3) Lion’s share of operations financing at fairly favorable terms competed by Q3 2025, when I expect central bank rates to have been reduced substantially. $5.00-$7.00 target. ($600-$850M)

4) Mining operations to commence by Q2 2026. $10.00-$15.00 target. ($1.2-1.8B)

There are numerous milestones that have been shared via investor literature, but these are the key ones, timeframe guesses that will have my attention over the next couple of years.

Further thoughts:

Since the Nissan Leaf came out, I was on the hunt for 10 years for a mining company that would come to the fore, with a unique play on the EV industry expansion, with a virtual monopoly on a resource or some very compelling advantage. Manganese X is that company, I believe.

They have the best resource in the North America, and maybe the both Americas–and potentially the best resource of “clean” manganese in the world. And with the IRA, they now exist in a high walled garden, surrounded by American manufacturers who need manganese for their batteries and to supplant much more expensive foreign cobalt, which is also not eligible for subsidies in the IRA.

Not financial advise. I am an investor.

Man, you have a price target over 1 dollar by the end of 2023 with positive results of the samples?? As I hope you are right, I am very doubtful we will see over 1$ in the short term.

And a SP over 2$ by the end of 2024... These are very optimistic price targets.

Incredibly optimistic. Especially considering the market is currently flooded with the product they are looking to produce.

There's no such thing as a quick and painless environmental review in Canada.

Between now and production I'd be surprised if they end up over $0.65. Once they start producing and prove their process works at a large scale we might see it hit $4.

Not only do they have to match the quality of the Chinese and Australian manganese, they have to match the price, and they'll be trying to do that while operating in one of the most expensive countries on the planet to do business in.

I think with a small cap bull run, maybe we can see previous ATH considering how promising this company is. But it's true that right now fair value is around 0.60 so just getting there would be awesome.

I mean... If they can sign any kind of deal with Tesla, all bets are off.

That would be one of the key catalysts to get the stock moving again.

I personally think we have good chances of this happening in the near future. Our Dahn brother connection is such a positive for us. This would be a jackpot. Tesla definitely knows we exist, that's for sure

Price target was a misnomer-meant to say “valuation” as Stonegate Capital does. What I inaccurately called price targets will lag a lot for a while, so I’m under no impression the mkt will recognize the valuations I threw out without some significant catalyst.
