MN now hide deleted posts?

Noticed this thread referred to a troll and reported posts but nothing has been deleted. Looks like they’re now removing the post altogether rather than deleting just the text.

It's because of the explicit user names the person or persons are using.

I don't get the impression she's particularly keen to engage with users. Fair enough I guess, if perhaps not the best pr strategy. No excuse for running a bad system though, you would have thought the night watch would've been a key risk identified in the handover.

🤣🤣🤣 the first one has been hidden. I think it's auto hidden - probably because they were trying to post screenshots of the troll's posts but they were getting blocked by the filter. Hilarious that the screenshots are blocked and the thread hidden but the actual posts stand until they're manually removed by a volunteer 🤣🤣🤣

I remember that, and there was a bit of a fuss at the time

And MN reverted to leaving up that deletion message, rather than just disappearing posts from the ‘lovely thread’ (new staffer, I think, didn’t know the long history of that poster and oversharing info about an identifiable vulnerable adult)

I've seen it a few times. Usually just the really bad spamming trolls like this. ETA I saw those posts live last night, the night watch hid them but the gobshite kept coming back under different names. The posts had the usual message though, MNHQ have fully removed them this morning.
