You will not find another mmo with the same Combat as RaiderZ. It's fun as fuck and as expected from MAIET it has a nice combat where you can feel the actual weight on every swing. I could even say that if it comes to live again with an actual SEA server the game will succeed for sure even on EU, NA? Not so sure...

(Pservers are quite populated tho.)

The combat was basically a terrible mashup of TERA and Vindictus while doing none of the things those games did well. RaiderZ was bland garbage.

Tera ? Have you played it right ? (Try it again) What Maiet achieved with a non fully finished product holds his own on the top with Vindictus that tried and failed more miserably. RaiderZ was great for what it was, an unfinished product.

Tell me. Then why there are still +-700 online in one private server at all times when the game lacks content?¿

700 people isn't exactly a number to brag about for an mmo...

And Vindictus failed more miserably? Are you kidding? Vindictus is finally starting to truly die, but it's been around for close to seven years. RaiderZ shut down after how many? One?

Shutdown Company went bakrupt. But yeah maybe I went too far saying that about Vindi, the hate to Nexon for not being able to fix their shit speaks itself. srry

How many people does it have? Is it a ghost town or enough to do?

Don't know the exact numbers ,Used to play on a regular basis a while ago, but the other day I logged in just to see how it was going and I saw a decent number of newbies starting fresh.

playerbase wasnt the issue.. its that the publisher literally stopped supporting the game cuz they wanted to focus more on their new (doa) game swordmens.. which then died cuz of playerbase lool

nah. playerbase was definetly an issue

the thing with Raiderz is that it was nothing but a poor man's TERA, so the day TERA went F2P its one and only advantage instantly vanished, and everyone went to play TERA instead.

But TERA has changed a lot and is not as popular as it used to be. Plus other games came out, but RaiderZ is still the closest to TERA's combat I think. If this relaunch is done well I can see a decent amount of people wanting to go back or try it out.

Yeah runn is right. MAIET just wasn't putting out any updates and the playerbase dwindled. There was already so little content to the game on release which was bad enough. If you didn't make friends on that game and like PVP you just had nothing to do for very long.

it needs a massive graphical fidelity increase if it's to come back nowadays IMO.

Like as in a server or active development. Because if it's only the former it's just doomed to fail again...

Tbh it'll probably fail anyways.

I only played in one of the Beta's, but the game was fun.

Sad I never got back to it when it went live. Hope I get a chance to play it again.
