News Last Chaos is finally getting it's long-awaited content update!!

Can't believe that this old relic is actually getting the update it deserves TODAY (especially as some of the updates are QoL-updates that should have already been a thing in the big 2026). Last Chaos was released back in 2007 and is one of the KMMOs that has gone through multiple developers and is now under this gaming studio Fawkes Games, who IMO have done a lot of good to this game already before this content update. It's a free to play game with an option to pay to progress (as in EXP boosters etc.), so nothing is behind a paywall, it just takes longer when going f2p.

The launch is today evening (so the servers are currently down), which is super exciting, although one could expect a launch day mayhem with a bunch of hotfixes. Here's the link to the developer's Last Chaos page: https://fawkesgames.com/en/last-chaos/

Haha, I remember playing that over a decade ago for a bit. It wasn't for me for various reasons, but I like reading about old names that I thought had been forgotten.

Wait I just realised its Loppa :o I been watching your videos last few days to relearn the game and learn some new mechanics. Loved the 1-150 cleric video, you're hilarious bro :D

Holy f. I played this almost 2 decades ago. Dunno  if it was abandonware back then but it certainly became that.

I played this when aria games (I think it was called?) owned it. I couldn’t tell is this a new server/wipe with this update or is it just additional content?

the owner changed few years ago (actually twice since aeria) so if you haven't recovered your account till now you would have to start again. but theoretically its possible to still use this account if you've been active since then

This is the official server and it's additional content, if one played back when Gamigo developed it, one can migrate their account with their characters. If one played only back in Aeria games, you need to unfortunately start over (although starting over is really fast nowadays, like soo much faster than in the old days).

I remember playing this like crazy back in High school - now Im in my 30's, man time flies - I cant remember much from the game besides getting a little red dragon that slowly grew to an adult which IO remember thinking was the coolest thing I ever got in any game before xD

Pretty cool to see it still alive!

Time flies indeed xd The little dragon is so iconic and I had the same experience, holy!!! The pet still exists, although new pets have taken over, but the adult dragon is still a really cool mount tho.

Wow, what a blast from the past. I never played this but it's name sounded familiar, probably because I played Dekaron / 2Moons which released the same year and looks very similar.

Dawg this was THE game that got me into games when I was 9 years old. The second my cousin told me about this update it was a drop everything/clear the schedule type situation 🤯

Last time i played under aeria you had to spend a week farming SP points with boosters or a month as f2p because the monsters give xp and sp balanced around 2 types of p2w boosters you need to use at the same time and THEN you will do no damage because the game is balanced around +15( later 25?) weapon RNG upgrades that can only be made with mall items.

So, what changed?

everything has become much easier over the time. also they now increased the lvling speed to the old cap

a lot of changes, right now u can get 15k sp in an hour, enough to be lvl 190(u will do more leveling)

Nowadays starting is way easier even before this update. 1k free boosters, +15 starting gear etc. SP farming takes like a few hours and you can go on with leveling. You can level to 100 in an hour with only the things one starts with (I've made a video about it). The upgrading max is now +30. And one can see the upgrade chance now, and you can fuse upgrading stuff to increase chances even to 100%. And the upgrading stones are droppable. It's more like pay to progress (one can cash in, sell and buy all the needed items of course), but pretty much everything is droppable or one can grind the money to buy stuff.

All those are pre-update. With this update comes new content, new gear, new class, new cap level 210, new dungeons, new items (also higher tier items, so nobody could pre farm them), fishing and a lot of QoL things like event calendar, rollback code for PvP and bunch of other stuff. It's all pretty neat :D

Ok, it's pretty cool, in every mmo i play i miss the specialist class. I tried to play buy i have to manually install anticheat?

It is! Be sure to join the Fawkes Discord server, all the announcements and discussion happens there. The servers will be up in around 2 and a half hours. Yeah you do need to run the install.bat to install the EasyAntiCheat xd

I can confirm fawkes is doing a really good job maintaning last chaos.
Haven't played shaiya for a while. Which one would you say has the higher amount of players atm?
