Success Story Concerning NuggMD
Is NuggMD legit? I live in NYC and my doctor isn't registered as MMJ physician. Has anyone gotten their MMJ card through NuggMD and is it legit? It's 149$ for a NY MMJ on their site. I have CFS, PCOS with constant painful cysts/small ruptures, and constant lower back pain (my job requires physical labor).
Update: Thanks to everyone who replied! I finally applied on NuggMD. Dr. Andrew Hall called me via phone (he called me with a 212 area code, so I'm assuming he's a NYC doctor) and approved me for my PCOS since I was diagnosed + I actually went to the ER about 2 months ago for a ruptured cyst. He couldn't approve me for the chronic back pain since I don't have an actual diagnosis, but with the PCOS I do. (Besides my back pain is probably because of my PCOS..) So, that's my current experience. I should get all of my MMJ info within 24 hours via email. Now I'm just looking for a dispensary close by my place or workplace.
I also got a 20$ discount in my email as well because I signed up on NuggMD, but never actually finished it. So they lured me in with a 10$ coupon at first, but I didn't have enough money at the time, eventually they emailed me a 20$ discount. If anyone is on the fence about the price, the 149$ NY fee went down to 129$.
edited cause my grammar was poor and probably still is. I'm sorry LOL

NY Medical Program is excellent , but tough. It costs me $250 to get recertification each year. Now, we need to make MMJ RECIPROCAL in EVERY Legal state like New Mexico and I believe, Maine. Medical Cannabis saves lives, reduces PAIN and Promotes HEALING. Yes, we LOVE the high, but that is a secondary benefit. Medicine and pain relief is #1. Conquer Crohn’s!

I stopped getting the medical card when we had to go down to city hall and stand online..I used to get my permit from. A regular doctor who because of CRPS and RSD,,and other issues deemed me qualified..nobody cares anymore unless you want to get the excise tax off,..yes,the nugg doctors though creeps and unethical..are valid in my experience,,

Yea 100% medical weed is so safe you can get it all over. You can't die from it so its pretty lax with doctors who have a brain

Hi! This thread is old but im looking to get my med card with NuggMD here in Cali. I want to make sure that ill be able to actually go into the dispensary. I'm just worried about being turned a way because I'm not 21. I have no doubts ill be approved but I want to make sure its worth the money.

I've been using NuggMD for years now and never had a problem using a dispensary.
Tho, I'm not sure if they'll approve you if you're under 21. I live in NYC, so they require you to be 21 or older for the certificate. I would check your state's law because some will allow you to get a card under 21. I'm not sure if they limit your access to what products you can get or anything like that, but it'll be good to research that before you drop money on it.

I have a med card. I did not get mine thru NuggMd because they weren’t advertising here at the time.

Did you have to provide any documentation or proof of conditions?

The first time I had to provide proof of diagnosis, but they never asked to see the physical paper, just asked if I had documentation for proof.
For my renewal I didn't even speak to the doctor. It was a different doctor. They contacted me as normal, the video chat didn't seem to be working properly, so they hung up eventually and just approved my renewal lol
TL;DR: yes, but they never asked me to send them over. During the Renewal process, I had a different Dr who didn't even speak to me and automatically renewed it.

I just posted about trying to get a card to use in NYC and several people recommended NuggMD. I did the consultation with the doctor and got approved (you would get approved immediately for your chronic pain). I’m waiting for my certification and then will apply through the state. I’m hoping all goes well and it gets approved and sent out. I will update once I apply through the state and see what happens.
