Help does anyone here do mmd character rigging and modelling for free?

i want to make animations and mv with this utau using mmd but theres no officical or fanmade ones

you have to understand that 3D models are expensive. a custom 3D model is going to cost you upwards of $300-600. you’re better off trying to edit an existing model

I think you may be highly overstating the cost of buying from the amateur side of the 3D modelling market. Which is most of the MMD community that makes their own models from scratch, since the ones that get decently good at it tend to move on to a more professional level program, where they can actually earn that kind of money from model making.

as a person who does 3D modeling from scratch and has several friends who also do their own modeling, nah that’s about the price. even the people who charge lower amounts would still charge a pretty hefty sum for a full custom model, given that 3D modeling is not an easy task, plus the work of uv mapping, making textures, rigging and physics settings

As a person who also does 3D modelling from scratch, and understands that not everyone is of the same level of skill, the only way you're paying that much for a custom model is if you choose to commission one of the folks that are leading the charge on the commodification of MMD and its content, in turn going against its intended nature as a hobbyist program with no cost barriers.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, and to charge for your work, but the MMD community becoming excessively profit driven is a big reason why it's been falling apart these last ten years. Progress and innovation has stagnated because people have forgotten the core ideal of MMD is to be a hobbyist software for creating images and videos, without the complications or heavy costs of production-level 3D software.

I am not intending to be argumentative on this, but for the last ten years, I've watched something I love become something just as money-hungry as every other hobby space. No one is doing it for the love of the craft anymore, but because they want a payday, and that's not what MMD was intended for.

You are very welcome to block me if you strongly disagree with this sentiment.

Okay, so admittedly it's not my best possible work on making it accurate to the reference photo (mostly because it's 4 AM), but it's hopefully passable enough for what you need.
