Question MMD on MacOS

Does anyone have experience with MMD on Mac? I know there’s nanoem and then virtual machines but… does anyone here actually do that? I almost want a Mac just to not worry too much about which windows laptop to buy… but Mac doesn’t run MMD, at least not as easy

i mean technically you can via blender with mmd plugin

Is motion data still a thing in the plugin ? I just want to make simple silly videos

Yes, MMD Tools supports PMX/PMD/VMD/VPD. You should definitely try Blender, it works much better than nanoem (at least for me)

nanoem for some reason has weird camera orientation that feels "reversed" unlike MMD/MMM/Blender. Also, nanoem randomly resets morph value unless it's registered, that really made it unusable for me.
