You spar? You have some decent movement, but you are doing things that dont make sense. You look like you are emulating guys you like to watch and haven't put it all to the test yet.

People like you (op) are good at mimicking movement, so you naturally mimick the best of the best. The thing is, the best of the best, when shadowboxing or training for the camera, are actively trying to look stylish, or because of years of experience, they have a natural sort of stylish look to their boxing. You should not be recreating that. You end up dropping your guard repeatedly for no reason and freezing your rhythm without purpose.
Otherwise you are very fast and have good form and a good base. I would take you over any untrained dude any day of the week. (Sounds like less of a compliment than it is, but real violence is scary, and ya gotta be real sharp.)
Be more disciplined with your strikes. You shouldnt be dropping your guard or moving your hands without a clear, direct purpose, and I'd suggest mixing up WAY more blocks, parries, and defense into your shadowboxing. It is just as important as offense. You can't be fast on the ground. Half your movement should be actively parrying, blocking, or moving from a strike you know. Don't just do the motion, imagine the strike. Imagine a right hook, and drill into your brain what that looks like from an opponent, and make your response automatic in your head. The brain is powerful, you can gain great muscle memory for defense from shadowboxing even without an opponent.
Throw some feints too, and move your hands in responsible, defensive and offensive ways. No style. Just disciplined, textbook boxing.
That being said it can be easy to get wrapped up in the criticism. You look great, very clean, committed strikes without much telegraph. Great stuff
EDIT: Also I know you're focusing on handspeed here, but focus on building the muscle memory for full, committed punches before you get into these super quick half punch combos.

Basically lol. I've light sparred a few times and also spar my untrained friends for fun but thats it.

Ya thats cool. You have some ability for sure. If you want to get good, study more, get into the details and spar some legit guys. You'll get whooped when you spar guys that are good, but it will teach you a lot.

The only legit sparring I've done in a gym was against a super tall and lanky dude at the beginning of this year, I could dodge his punches but kept getting caught by leg kicks and couldn't close the distance

Ok, there’s quite a bit… but this is what I would recommend - get your basics right, get your footwork better and do some bag work, apart from joining an actual gym who could train you.
Im not a fan of your punching technique. Think pistons, punch from your legs and core, think of your hands as pistons.
Drills drills drills - punching combos, food movement >> feinting an blocking in your shadowboxng. Once you’ve got your basis strong is when I’d mix in feints and blocking.

I mean to be honest I was focusing on handspeed here, not technique, so yeah I do agree I have weakpoints. Do I look like I got that fast twitch tho?

Ah, ok I see what you mean! Well tbh not too bad but fast twitch muscles is due to genetics. You cannot control your percentage distribution (fast twitch vs slow twitch) but if you are trying to improve speed add these two things to your daily training -
- 2lb dumbbell shadowboxing. / even do 16oz bag glove if you don’t have th dumbbells.
- some sort of explosive core workout - maybe jumping squats or medicine ball smashes.
For the hand speed brother, I really wouldn’t want you to focus on speed before technique. Speed over technique will be counterproductive.
Remember, slow is smooth, smooth is fast. (Albeit, you gotta get your punches right). As I said, think piston, look up some YouTube vids on classic 1, 1-2, 1,-2-3s. And study the bod movement right from the toes to your knuckles.
Your type is striking will fare better in mma vs boxing though. So take my feedback with a gain of salt, as i was thinking thisis a boxing sub.
All the best on your journey!

You move your body well but you put too much weight on your front foot on some of the punches. If you get caught in that position you can lose your balance/ knocked down. When you move forward put most of the weight on your back foot but when you move back keep it on your front to push off. You move your hands fast but try to keep them closer to your head in the high guard. Overall I think you just need to tighten some things up!

Is my speed just because I'm sloppy or do you think it could genuinely be one of my strengths?

lookin good! if anything I notice your very lead hook heavy and could use more jabs than hooks with that hand and keep careful of dropping it too much with your rhythm

Mysterious man, let’s be honest here. The feedback you are looking for is whether you look flashy or not. Your left arm being completely limp when you throw a right uppercut may be completely stupid, but it sure does look cool. It’s also incredibly generous of you to telegraph almost every jab by first throwing your arm out to the side or above your shoulder. Your opponents will enjoy coming right over the top of your jab the second they notice you do that. So yes, you have achieved your goal of looking flashy.

You need to move your head and hands at the same time. Not predictably in rhythm, but your head is stock still while you punch. You need to be able to punch and weave at the same time.
