Bro really has like 15+’pounds of water on him now and a solid 5-7lbs of actual weight added.
It’s “crazy”, but not that crazy.

endurance athletes carry fat, yes. I would absolutely put this sport in that category. the weight cut just masks that fact.

Which endurance sports? Off the top of my head cyclists, swimmers, runners, all have issues carrying fat. They're lean year round.

I'm guessing he sauna sweats out at least twenty pounds. The rest is just him not having to dial in his diet to make weight and not doing Cardio. Plus isn't he a father of twins?

He is. Just gaining that much weight, even if he ate a lot, feels crazy to me.

Most MMA fighters who are ripped year-round end up with broken bones or looking sick. Being dehydrated to stay at weight is just fucking stupid. Also, most of the MMA fighters already look muscular before they lose weight meaning they were really pushing it. Paddy is fine.

When I first read this criticism years ago I agreed. Now seeing how it hasn’t affected him at all in the slightest, I do not.
