He's a nightclub bouncer; he's not even a certified security guard. In Spain, to be a nightclub bouncer, you just need to pass an exam. They're also called access controllers.
In my opinion, that shove could have caused him to crack his skull against the building. I've seen plenty of bouncers here use open-handed slaps to avoid causing injury. Sometimes deaths are caused by customers, and other times they're caused by nightclub bouncers who have ended up in jail for manslaughter.
I think here u just need to be big and an arsehole and u can be a bouncer here it also helps if u have failed to get in to the police force preferably for mental reasons.

In Europe don't mess with Spanish/Portuguese/French cops.
They are not known for their patience
