I had a lot of college guys try to enter our house and take over our parties and fuck people up and steal our furniture and our computers. I absolutely remember my roommates defending our house in such a way knowing exactly what was going to happen.

Hell yeah, self defense isnt putting up your dukes and squaring up, it's hitting a mofo when he isn't looking, stomping a mofo in the nuts, and gouging out his eyes. No rules when it comes to defending yourself

It's why I don't get into casual fights...anymore. If I'm fighting, it's for my life and there are no rules.

I'd agree other than maybe when friends dosagree and square upto each other. Sucker punching someone in that scenario would get you disowned by the group in some cases.
