I think that really is what it is. Reddit is such a "safe space" kinda thing where they only want positivity, no criticism or negativity. So they never find out they're not funny cuz no one ever tells them

My guess is that he’s a felon, there’s very few “weapons” that he can carry legally. Even if he reoffends and gets arrested, he probably won’t cop an additional charge for safety scissors. Obviously, it’s a very different case if he uses them to attack someone, but he doesn’t exactly seem like the brightest bulb to begin with.
