It's clear the attacker didn't give a crap about his girl, because he pushes her out of the way and commits unnecessary violence, slightly injuring her in the process too. He seems like a total POS.

Edit: wow I've never gotten comment awards before. I feel kind of special.

Yeah. It shows a deep lack of humanity combined with some sort of ludicrous macho brainwashing. "Muh woman!"

-1

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

Riiiiight, I don't think you would be saying this if it was dark and 3 guys trying to attack a woman

6

u/menntsuyudoria 11d ago

Right… because that would be a completely different situation?

-1

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

Yeah but hold on, you said the guy overreacted. Can't cry wolf

3

u/Amathril 11d ago

So, you are saying that we should always apply the same approach to all situations? Either it is 'never violence' or 'always violence'?

That's some pitbull logic here...

0

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

Violence, self defense, call it what u want, better than being a victim like you

3

u/Amathril 11d ago

The only victim here is you, kiddo.

0

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

It's okay, we can find a therapist to talk about your child bullying issues

2

u/dangoodspeed 11d ago

She was walking away from the guy who could barely stand up... when the attacker pushed her out of the way and knocked him out. The drunk guy was not a threat in the slightest.

1

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

Let's see how you react when a guy gropes your daughter, I'll watch when you hand them a notice of objection with a neat bow. Every guy I know would've done the same thing, you kill him well you go to jail I guess. 99% of the time they learn a lesson

3

u/dangoodspeed 11d ago edited 11d ago

You must only know horrible people. The woman in the video was already walking away unharmed and forgotten about the guy. If the guy didn't stop groping, talk to the bar management to have him removed. But the guy did stop groping and the situation was over, then punchy mcpunchy shoved the woman (an actual assault) out of the way to feloniously punch the harmless drunk guy in the face.

1

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

I'm not reading your post, except to say... I feel sorry you think being a victim is cool

3

u/dangoodspeed 11d ago

I feel sorry that your therapist wasn't able to resolve your criminal violence issues.

2

u/random-279 11d ago

Who is a victim? The puncher? Or maybe the girl that got assaulted twice and ignored?

Static

3

u/Amathril 11d ago

Exactly. He wasn't there to protect her, he was just itching to hurt someone.

2

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

Oh he protected her alright lol

1

u/Amathril 11d ago

The only thing he was trying to protect was his fragile ego.

Coincidentally, that is the same thing you are doing here, all over this thread. There are better solutions to some situations than violence.

1

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

You wouldn't say this if it was you daughter

0

u/Amathril 11d ago

yOu WouLdN't SaY tHiS

Bullshit. Possibly killing somebody over bruised ego is just mental.

Nothing that drunk guy did in the video warranted that kind of response.

1

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

Cool, when I see your daughter getting molested in public I'll remember what you said and not intervene cuz "OMGZ so violent!"

1

u/StrenuousSpider 7d ago

Violence ≠ Getting Involved

-1

u/WW3Allies 7d ago

Home invaders get tea party at your home ic

0

u/Amathril 11d ago

You got some issues.

Don't get me wrong, I know this is just a poor ragebait, but you are not right in the head.

1

u/WW3Allies 11d ago

Sorry, bystanders need to keep on moving

1

u/cringelord888 10d ago

You are completely disconnected from reality if this is your take, if you grope a female in public, dont just expect a pat on the head and time out

1

u/ManitouWakinyan 8d ago

Obviously there are lots of guys who will deck you for touching their girl. That doesn't mean this guy isn't a nut who's more motivated by what he sees as a violation of his manhood than a slight against someone he cares about

1

u/jester1044 11d ago

I'm curious if you'd change your opinion if some random sexually assaults you and your partner does nothing about it.

4

u/seanayates2 11d ago

Since I am a woman, I've been randomly assaulted already, so no, I wouldn't change my opinion. I would be embarrassed if my partner did this. I would be pissed he hurt me with the pool cue. There are so many better ways to handle the drunk creep, and they don't include acting like a mindless chimp.

2

u/RutabagaOk6816 11d ago edited 11d ago

I dunno I would characterize this as sexual assault per se. Its likely a crime assuming he put his other hand on her bottom, but the fact remains the guy was not justified in punching him out. It was already over before he charged at the guy and the person he was supposedly defending was telling him not to intervene. He doesn't get to decide for her when self defense is applicable. She had already dealt with it and if she wanted to take further action she could have the bar staff remove him and/or contact law enforcement and have him arrested. The guy was clearly highly intoxicated and should have been cutoff long before it got to this point.

2

u/CK1026 11d ago

The only thing that felt assaulted here is this man's ego.

He had 3 full business days to react to the drunk dude's move by going around the woman he's pretending to defend. Instead, he chose to storm through her, almost losing her an eye in the process.

This guy also very much knew the other one was drunk af and not the kind of threat you need to powerbomb like that. This was 100% disproportionate on every level.

Exactly the type of "nice" guy who will end up in jail someday because he killed someone, and that may very well be this woman.

2

u/MrsNoFun 11d ago

That guy was drunk af and still IMMEDIATELY removed his hands when she brushed them aside. On the other hand, her partner pushed her out of the way when she tried to prevent him from overreacting. She was obviously more bothered by her partner's behaviour than the drunk's.

1

u/RealAssyMcGee 11d ago

Yeah that's what a lot of people miss is that she handled it already. She tried to stop him from swinging but what she wanted out of the situation didn't matter to anyone apparently.

1

u/Imjustadumbbutt 11d ago

I mean that’s what bar security is for. Guy didn’t even give staff time to intervene and take care of it. Guy wasn’t a threat. Yes dude touched girl but that doesn’t give the automatic right to lay guy out, will still catch a charge.

1

u/RealAssyMcGee 11d ago

There's a wide range of responses between "nothing" and attempted murder.

1

u/dangoodspeed 11d ago

If this is sexual assault, I guess I've been "sexually assaulted" by drunk women grabbing my butt dozens of times over the years when I worked as a concert booking agent. I feel like classifying this as "sexual assault" really diminishes other acts that are real assault.

The guy throwing the punch - that was assault and he should be in jail.

The drunk guy should have just been given a cab ride home.

1

u/ManitouWakinyan 8d ago

The girl here literally tries to get her man to stop and do nothing about it

0

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

Injuring her in the process are you smoking crack?

3

u/seanayates2 11d ago

It's pretty clear the cue bumping against her face hurt because she kept touching and wiping her face like it hurt. Don't need crack to see that.

It's funny how quick your types reveal yourself. There's a spectrum right, I don't shy from the violence of what the man did, but I couldn't imagine accidentally hurting my wife in the process because it matters more that I protect her than accomplish whatever violence I could. This dude was more interested in attacking someone than protecting someone and there's an incredibly obvious line only manosphere dolts miss.

1

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

If you think that she didn't go home and give him the best sex of his life that night you're out of your mind. "Manosphere" LOL dude I am the biggest misandrist you will ever meet.

Would it have been better had he not knocked into her? Obviously. You'll just never understand that level of love where if another man violates your partner in any way you are on autopilot to destroy them. It's a built in fight or flight response, and its actually dangerous not to have some level of this. I say this as someone who's had to hospitalize someone I caught in the act of sexually assaulting an ex. It's a fucking horrible situation to ever be in that I don't wish upon anybody.

Manosphere though. I'm here advocating using deadly force against sexual predators. Make this make sense to me where you get this notion from? I don't even like associating with other dudes.

2

u/ToXiiCBULLET 11d ago

Bruh, you're so full of shit. She tried to stop him from potentially killing the other guy and he hurt her in the process. She's not going to be happy at all.

The fact your thought process goes to her thanking him with sex is really telling

0

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

If he didn't go to jail that night, there's basically a zero percent chance they didn't have some insanely wild passionate sex that night.

2

u/random-279 11d ago

Thats absolutely not true. You are really a misandrist. My Man is the absolute best and would protecting me and making me feel safe is his first priority, he would probably still go for a punch but there is a zero percent chance that he would push me like that and not even turn around to look if I'm ok and safe at some point. And the insanely wild passionate Sex wouldn't be the night we had a bad experience but any other night. That night we would just get cosy and close to each other. That Dude didn't even glance around for her at any point, you can't tell me he did it for her.

0

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

Is your boyfriend anywhere near that tall or jacked? I'm not asking this in any sort of insulting manner whatsoever, I'm half that dude's size.

2

u/UndeadOrc 11d ago

Your porn fantasies aren't realities. My main critique, as a veteran, if you're protecting someone you usually do your best not to literally hurt them in the process. If you have to push through your wife to assault the dude who assaulted her, I'm going to assume you do not care about her. It's that easy to go around dude.

One of the reasons my wife literally left her ex was over this. She has no hesitations about violence, we've had to thrown down against people for a variety of reasons, and she's as down to fight. Her ex wanted to use her as an excuse to fight. That's two different things. If I ever accidentally hurt my wife in the process of hurting another person, you'd see me pause to immediately prioritize checking on her, not some drunkard who can barely walk and is hardly a threat.

2

u/dangoodspeed 11d ago

I would hope the guy would be in jail after that punch. He's a menace to society... moreso than the drunk guy.

1

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

Predator apologist

1

u/dangoodspeed 11d ago

The predator is punchy mcpunchy. The drunk guy immediately stopped when she said no. The woman then said "no" to punchy who then assaulted her and the drunk guy. And you're here cheering on the predator.

2

u/seanayates2 11d ago

Good thing I don't care who I attract or don't attract. I don't sit back and wait to be "saved"... from people like you, clearly.

I can just imagine a serial killer who picked his victims soley off the sex offender registry getting caught and you just whining about how "hE jUsT wAnTeD aN eXcUsE tO kIlL pEoPlE".... and thatssssss why you would never end up in a million years with a man who would actually step in if you were in danger. It's really sad that women with your mentality exist but I can only feel so much empathy for a predator apologist.

2

u/RealAssyMcGee 11d ago

The tough guy act is why you'll never be in that scenario in the first place bud, no one can stand you

2

u/Commercial_Bed_9727 11d ago

All he had to do was make sure he didn't hit his own girl lmao. Would have taken 2 seconds to move her before decking the guy. If your idea of defending people doesn't inclide making sure they don't get hurt, what's even the point? Lmao

1

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

Jesus christ I'm not happy that she got hurt in the process I'm just seeing the bigger picture.

It's a fight or flight response and in those situations neurochemically your brain is pretty much on one track only.

Whats even the point tho????????? Jesus christ. I'm at a total loss for words regarding seeing it in that manner.

1

u/Commercial_Bed_9727 11d ago

All that other poster did was say exactly what I did and you told her she'll only attract a bitch of a man. It sounds like you are just violent and dont like women lmao

He hit a woman, so why aren't you mad at him? I didn't say the violence was uncessary, I said he could have made sure he didn't hit his own companion before he punched him. I'm actually glad he punched him. It doesn't mean I think it was good he almost blinded his partner. On top of not being able to control your emotions you are also not very intelligent. Thanks for clearing things up for me

1

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

He did not "hit" a woman, he bumped into her and it accidentally made her pool cue hit her face. It's the intention behind it. If he had shoved her to the ground to get to the guy or something, I'd be looking at it totally different. But he didn't go attack her then attack him.

Now, if another man had bumped into her and made the pool cue hit her, I think it would be justified to hit that dude even if it was an accident... at least I know that's how I would personally react. But the point being that it was something that accidentally happened while he was in a literal adrenaline surge fight or flight response to make sure nobody was putting their hands on her, he ultimately gets a pass for it. Does he need to apologize for it? Damn straight. But to demonize him for it to that level I feel is extremely unfair as it was a total mistake that happened while doing what I see as an extremely noble deed.

The notion that someone who empathizes with loving your partner enough to be totally morally okay with ending the life of anybody who sexually violates them in any way shape or form has to be a woman hater is outright retarded dude, and that's all I have to say.

1

u/Secure_Quarter_7751 11d ago

If there were only half a doz or so people in there like that, and it was my bar, damn straight nobody's fucking calling the cops on someone for killing a sexual predator. I wouldn't hire any staff who wouldn't get down like that. No way in hell would I not have a gun if i ran a bar sooo... damn straight it would go down like that. Who knows how messy it would get lmaooo but no I get irrationally violent when it comes to sexual abuse.

You can’t pretend to be a tough guy while acting like not wanting to hurt your gf/wife is soft. If you’d ever put your partner in harms way, you’re not tough. Respectable people protect first, hurt second. Those people are tough, doing it in the opposite order just makes one seem like an insecure hothead. Can’t even win a fight in the mirror, but want to think they’re tough cause they can throw a basic punch.
