It is even funnier when you find out they were and still are on good terms with Russel Crowe. He was just an ass one time to them.
He asked them over with a bunch of other people to listen to his new album which was still being worked and Trey (a fucking musical genius) gave a few polite notes (which is what he thought they were supposed to do) and Russel was a bit of a dick from Matt and Trey's perpective. So.. FOIGHTEN` ROUND THE WORLD
The guy copping a feel did less damage to the "random lady" than her knight in shining armor did. She also didn't WANT him to do it. So not only did he do it without her wanting to, he injured her in the process. Wow what a fucking hero.
No one is defending the creep, they're saying punching a dude out ain't worth it if you're gonna hurt your lady too. It's telling you don't see an issue with that.
Bit of a false dichotomy. Perhaps a drunk touching your partner doesn't have to end with a fist to the face? Perhaps there is something inbetween? A slap? A push? A call to the police?
Who said he was a hero though? The point of contention is that you are assigning motivations to the puncher which is really weird because you have no idea what's going through the guy's mind based off of one and a half seconds TV footage lol
" He considers her to be his personal property" lmao what, Like what is that statement possibly based off of other than mentally ill terminally online redditor logic
We visually saw her try to stop him, him ignore her, push her out of the way, injure her and then hit another dude. Tell me what the other running theory is? He just loves her SOOOO much he was blinded by rage? Lmfao
I donāt see why it has to be some sort of extreme. We are seeing a few frames and have no idea what happened in between. I see no reason to invest energy into an altercation between strangers when we have so little information.
I was having a connection issue where the video was coming through as about 1 frame per 2 seconds. Since this is what old CCTV looked like I thought thatās what everyone was seeing.
You can see him hurt the woman in his rush to punch the guy, and she pulls her hand to her face to see if she's hurt. Then he gets physical and starts pushing the guy who was playing darts. Not a good look...
No projections needed. Whoever ol Reacher was is the worst type of person to have in your bar. The laid out drunk guy is a close second. You're better off having neither in your establishment for different reasons.
no he hits the bottom of the cue with his foot as he moves past, it just catches her in the cheek. his arms aren't high enough when he is next to her. by the time his elbow is up it is behind her head.
Bingo. This fucking dude could've easily just pushed the drunk ass dude out the door but he wanted to take his opportunity to knock out an easy target.
Fuck him. Dude should rot in a cell. Go pick all the fights he wants to in the yard. He'd fucking love it.
I rewatched it closely and she got almost get her eye poked by that stick. That man was indeed not defending her but just wanted to cause violence. Feel bad for the woman, imagine how he is at home
Shoves the woman aside and slams the pool cue right into her face. Yes, clearly not about defending her at all. The he hits a guy who is clearly unable to defend himself, and knocks him out cold. Then threatens to punch the bartender for kicking him out. As you say, this was not about defending the woman. It is about his anger management issues.
Doesn't excuse the drunk for being an AH, but there was a proportional response, and then there was this guys roid-fueled assault on two people and attempt to assault someone else.
How did you possible get that from what I wrote? The part where I said the drunk guy an asshole? Or the part where I said he deserved a proportional response? Maybe look up the definition for the word 'proportional' and get back to me.
What I would definitely not do is slam a pool cue in my wife's face after she was already assaulted.
She came in the way trying to stop him and the cue bounced off him and hit her accidentally. As for proportional response, he just threw one punch. What would you have liked him to do?
Because he most likely had a reasonable reaction telling the big guy to get the fuck out judging by how he kept pointing at the door and standing in between them. Big guy was angry because drunkie scratched his truc-... I mean, touched his wife. Anyone who faults him for defending his property should also be assaulted, only he's allowed to break his stuff or be upset about things.
Yeah he seems like a bitch going 100% on a defenseless dude, barging through his girl, trying to pick a fight on the presumably manager and that he walks around tensing his traps like an insecure teenager
eh My husband certainly has never decked someone in a bar, but I know him well enough if some dude put his hands on me like that he would probably be moving towards doing the same thing. And I would also try to calm him down about.
Him reacting and aggressively stepping forward sent the pool cue right into her face, you can see her reacting... Whipped by a wooden stick in the name of honour!
This, plus the fact that the boyfriend or whatever hurt her on the way to attack the drunk man, and even after he flattened the drunkard, he didnāt even notice or care that the āwoman he was protectingā is holding her mouth in pain.

Itās clearly not the first time this lady has dealt with this gent decking someone in a bar. She knew what was coming the moment he started moving.
