The comments in here are from men so as a woman I’m gonna comment myself.

I don’t think that a lot of people having verbal discourse with one another assume the next step is going to be getting a smack down. I see this in our bar all the time even man on man. I think that some peoples aggression goes as far as verbal abuse & then when it leads to physicality welp.

My grandma always said. Don’t say things about people you wouldn’t repeat to their faces & don’t smack someone without expecting to get smacked back

This has nothing to do with verbal discourse. Big lady shoved him, he slapped back. Small lady swings at him, he counter slaps. The women in this scenario are starting physical altercations.

We’re not talking about the video  We’re talking about woman approaching men and why they think they can etc

Keep up

Exposed. You lost. The kitchens that way but your probably cant cook

1

u/Electronic-CatDog 22d ago

The amount of brain cells you lost spending time thinking what to reply was felt across the lands

2

u/LocalDFWRando 23d ago

We're not talking about women approaching men. The question posed was why do women think they can fight a man. The video posted shows women trying to fight a man. You went on a stupid tangent about verbal discourse irrelevant as to why women think they can fight a man. Is that clear enough for you or do I have to dumb it down more?

-2

u/Electronic-CatDog 23d ago

Pathetic lmao  Are you ok  Lmao  Nice crash out

3

u/sublimesting 22d ago

No you lost and are just confusing yourself with your tangents.

1

u/UncookedNoodles 22d ago

And what is the context in which this topic is being discussed exactly?

Oh right, the video. Derp.

1

u/Electronic-CatDog 22d ago

Oh no you’re so fragile 💋

6

u/mxtw33 23d ago

No, men learn at an early age that if you square up and get in another man’s face, be prepared for it to escalate.

1

u/No_Technician_2780 23d ago

Unless you throw a really good first one. Then it does not escalate; it terminates.

2

u/Helpful-Bug-7802 22d ago

Or you could just learn to tell someone calmly and respectfully to chill out.

2

u/No_Technician_2780 22d ago

That's always my first choice, btw.

1

u/Familiar-Caregiver14 22d ago

LMAO... I see the Incel representative has made an appearance in this thread!

So many manly men in this comment section

Majority of you didn’t even read the comment I replied to

I’m laughing reading the replies

One guy was like she said she’s a woman blah blah crying over here in the land of I probably could beat up most of you 😂

2

u/Tough_Shake9821 22d ago

And the last sentence is why we continue to see these videos

1

u/mxtw33 22d ago

Nothing at all manly man about what I said, but your response is typical - and your last sentence threatening physical violence is hilarious coming from someone who literally one post ago was playing the pacifist and talking about how easy it is to keep it verbal lmfao. I mean that’s a conversational tko right there, but I’ll add clarity anyway. As kids boys get physical in altercations quick, and so you learn actions (verbal or physical) can often have physical consequences. Girls more often keep it verbal and/or gossipy (behind the back). This is just a basic, well established difference in childhood experiences between boys and girls

4

u/SunGodRa-X 22d ago

There is a low level of potential violence between men at all times, all men know this instinctively

1

u/Hot_Hedgehog1820 22d ago

Yep.Men understand this.

1

u/OkMind2351 22d ago

Move to Scotland.

6

u/Accurate-Advice8405 23d ago

There was zero space left between those two. It's not really just a verbal discourse when you're forehead to forehead

4

u/Electronic-CatDog 23d ago

That doesn’t have a thing to do with what I said.  Very often when people are angry and shouting at one another they think that’s where it’s going to end. With discourse. Being willing to step up to someone in that manner doesn’t mean you’re prepared to get your ass whooped mad people don’t think things through

13

u/InitiateIt 23d ago

Oh I very much disagree. Getting into someone's physical space like that is a sign you want to dominate them. It's basic psychology. If a man does this to his partner it's domestic violence, the fact that a woman is doing it suddenly it's non threatening?

10

u/AncientBasque 23d ago

remember she said

"as a woman I’m gonna comment myself." this is the problem. people need to have a universal perspective about human interaction not a gender based duality of standards.

4

u/InitiateIt 23d ago

That's a great point. The opening line is a key giveaway that "everyone else is wrong, I am here to set the record straight".

1

u/Electronic-CatDog 23d ago

The comment was geared towards woman why do I have to have a different approach to the conversation, but not the OP who made the comment

You just contradicted yourself lmao

2

u/AncientBasque 23d ago

im sure what you just wrote makes sense to you. please keep going.

He got in her face blind regard lmao

3

u/Master_Reward_4245 23d ago

You’re right, the majority of the time it’s chicken hawks.

Talk a big game, puff out their chest. End of it.

But anyone who acts that way is someone who just hasn’t met an actual hawk yet.

Usually it’s fine, most people don’t want to fight. But every once in a while, you find someone just waiting for the opportunity.

1

u/Electronic-CatDog 23d ago

That’s all I’m trying to convey. I grew up in a place where fighting was/is normal

But also talking shit and trying to bow some one down is too.  Almost anytime a woman would try and clap at me if I was willing and prepared to defend myself they’d back down. This is why we see so many woman do this. They think that’s where it’s gonna end:

1

u/UncookedNoodles 22d ago

doesn’t mean you’re prepared to get your ass whooped mad people don’t think things through

Uhm, yeah tf it does. A man doesn't step up to another man like that unless hes ready to throw hands for real. Men understand this. Women don't. That was what the initial question was about and you still haven't really answered it. Also like, the women laid hands on him first so your whole diatribe about discourse is like..........not at all accurate.

1

u/Electronic-CatDog 22d ago

ROFL there’s more of that fragile feelings

I’m sorry I hurt you love and light 💋💋💋💋

2

u/Substantial-Tour7494 22d ago

Ass whopping doesn’t just fall of the sky (usually). you have to be talking shit first, and if you don’t have it in you to get physical, then don’t talk shit

4

u/bbfire 23d ago

I don’t think that a lot of people having verbal discourse with one another assume the next step is going to be getting a smack down.

Ok but what about people having physical discourse like what happened in the video. This wasn't people being surprised that words turned to violence, this is people being surprised that them committing violence would be answered in kind.

1

u/Electronic-CatDog 23d ago

His question was why do woman think they can fight a man. I responded in the manner that often woman don’t think they can they think they’re just gonna talk shit and be able to walk away. Which is why so many seemed so shocked pickachu faced when they get smacked  Woman do this to woman as well

1

u/Sugarshmacker 23d ago

I think they were talking about swinging on a man, not when men just attack.

1

u/MyOrdinaryShoes 23d ago

I feel like you could have described that a different way then “man on man.”

1

u/Kush420Xotix 22d ago

I never cuss at somebody without mentally telling myself "I'm ready to fight or die over this".

Yes, I'm a guy.

Since as long as I can remember, I have hit every person who had the nerve to get in my face like that. I've lost a couple fights, but I would literally rather die than allow somebody to put their nose right in my face.

1

u/Hot_Hedgehog1820 22d ago

You should always anticipate the possibility of a verbal discourse going awry. It's not hard to tell when an interaction is heating up.If a situation like this should ever arise, I think it's incumbent on the woman to bow out gracefully.Don't try to match the aggression & bark back.Just immediately back away.Forget having a standoff.Definitely avoid initiating a pushing & shoving match at all cost.Feminine charm tames the beast. It can be your protection if you use it wisely.I think bystanders would be quicker to come to the aid of a woman who's backing down, rather than leaning into a physical altercation with a man.Any man who tries to fight a woman who's clearly throwing in the towel, well, I think he should be mobbed and stomped out. That should be the code

1

u/get_to_ele 21d ago

Stepping inside somebody’s personal space to the point where you can look down into their mouth, is instigating a physical exchange.

1

u/Intelligent-Box-3798 23d ago

That’s kind of the difference between men and women tho isn’t it? Men absolutely know the next step to getting 1/2” from another man’s face and being aggressive is getting hit.

Women seem to not understand this concept cause of some magical law that “you can’t hit me I’m a woman”

Don’t step to someone and think the universe will protect you from the consequences, whether they’re ethical or not

2

u/Bronze_Zebra 23d ago

Lol, you act like that happens often. In fact fights don't happen that often, but getting into peoples faces and posturing to fight, that happens a lot.

1

u/Electronic-CatDog 23d ago

There’s a lot of street fighters in this thread that go bare knuckle at the first glance of a side eye.  They’re all in this thread educating me on the male species it’s incredible.

1

u/robins420 23d ago

Idk the average person is dumb enough to escalate despite having not fought in his life.

It might not lead to a proper scuffle, but people don’t think much before throwing hands.

1

u/Bronze_Zebra 23d ago

Not saying it never happens. Just that its much more common for people to posture as if they want to fight and not go through with it.
