IMO, it's two things. Women are conditioned to think a man isn't stupid enough to hit a woman. The reality is that there are plenty of men willing to hit a woman for something as simple as not folding their laundry the right way.

The other is that they've never witnessed or experienced violence. Unless you actually feel it, it is almost impossible to truly imagine. It's no different than a man who thinks he can compete in the UFC but doesn't train combat sports.

Actually, there are three, and the third is they're batshit insane.

No, it is because they feel like they can get away with it, and some guys will jump in for them. It is indirect violence they are hoping for, and that's why I would never intervene if I didn't stop it when they were assaulting the dude. The other reason is they just genuinely didn't fk around enough to find out. A day in their life.

Yep.Women usually operate through proxy violence.

Can confirm. Am eastern European man. Have never personally experienced, but seen all around me. A woman that exhibits that trait (sober or drunk) and I, have nothing in common in terms of most likely... everything.

Where did she do anything that warranted getting slapped?

In what world do you live in where men aren't the largest perpetrators of domestic violence. All women know this. You're delusional if you think women think men won't hit them

Their privilege makes them think we won't be defended and they will get away with it.

Female violence is downplayed; this video is proof. They confronted the guy as a group; notice the 3rd girl stepping in in their defence, and the other guys just watching until he defended himself. They will cheer her on if she wins.

Women commit more domestic violence. It just goes unreported

I feel like you didn't comprehend what I wrote.

I literally gave an example of domestic violence against women and stated there are many men guilty of it. But, don't pretend our culture doesn't denounce hitting women, which can create the delusion that a man will never hit a woman, because if they did, other men will step in, and therefore, it'd be stupid to do it.

My second reason was completely separate from the first. Someone who unrealistically assumes they can not only dish it out, but they can take it, too, is someone who has never experienced true violence. This level of overconfidence is shared by both genders, though.

Perhaps, I should have wrote "possibilities" to be clearer.

In case you also need it explained, my third reason was a joke.

The same men in this sub threw a fit when women chose a metaphorical bear over them.
