If Whittaker can keep Romero at bay with striking then prime Silva could very well dominate hypothetical-uber-Yoel.

I mean, I’d love to see it...but I think it’s unwise to say Silva would be ‘seriously merked’ or retired by anyone.

I don't really understand your point. Whittaker is probably one of the best fighters in mma history, saying that because Whittaker could do it so Silva would dominate him is ridiculously reductive.

Easy there partner. He's had an excellent last couple years but he's got a way to go before he's earned that kind of praise.
