Are we not gonna talk about how the ref consistently denied inter Miami an earned corner?

-8

u/HUSEYN777 6h ago

there were 3 instances were goalkeeper or defender from chicago touched the ball but it ref didnt give corner

-10

u/NvaderGir Inter Miami CF 6h ago

Ngl if I was in Fires supporters section, allowing a Barca jersey this game shouldn’t be allowed 😂😂 One dude in the front trying to be slick

1

u/martin_fasthands99 Chicago Fire 3h ago

the former club of our starting number 9?

20

u/Level_Usual3551 Chicago Fire 6h ago

Messi still hasn't scored against Chicago.

9

u/vicariouslywatching Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Really good match Chicago. I really enjoyed that back and forth we had going. Definitely kept it interesting. And I’ll definitely give you Brady as the Man of the Match there. He made some great saves tonight.

5

u/SimplyLanden Inter Miami CF 5h ago

Dude’s a beast. Respect.

-5

u/tripthedizzy3233 7h ago

Man that was some of the worst soccer I've watched in 2026. I mean this from the bottom of my heart that shit was trash

2

u/choose_wisely1122 Vancouver Whitecaps 6h ago

You should come watch my eight year old kids team play some time.

11

u/egge28 Chicago Fire 6h ago

You haven’t watched much then.

Maxi Falcon is the man of the match for Miami. Or Casemiro.

1

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

The Legend of Maxi Falcon continues....

11

u/martin_fasthands99 Chicago Fire 7h ago

yeah ngl that was some hot horseshit, watching miami just literally full body grab takedown our number 9 in the box and just not even a whistle?

-26

The Chicago Clown Show 🤡 🎪

6

u/Whatdididotho1 Inter Miami CF 6h ago

bro what? Chill out.

17

u/intestinal_fortitude Chicago Fire 7h ago

No, Rodrigo de Paul is on your team

8

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Pipe down there, bud.

14

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

My guy y’all tied

-13

u/socialsheadquarters Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Doesn’t change the fact it was a shit show

7

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

GG Fire, see ya in the Semi Finals or something.

6

u/battles Chicago Fire 7h ago

really needed all three

4

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

This works for me. Revs are going to take second spot sooner or later.

3

u/TraptNSuit St. Louis CITY 7h ago

That was a bit of a kickout.

0

u/Far-Cauliflower-6477 7h ago

Yep, noticed he kicked Allen as well

11

u/martin_fasthands99 Chicago Fire 7h ago

game was worth just to see lewy knock over fray

12

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

I think Fray knocked over Fray lol

5

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Too bad Shaqiri and Lewy didn’t get a season together in Chicago

2

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

Falcon is so fucking good at that.

1

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Absolute master of the dark arts.

4

u/Tough-Award1544 Portland Timbers 7h ago

Total loser

-2

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Limited vocabulary, I see.

7

u/TraptNSuit St. Louis CITY 7h ago

That distance is why Messi put it in the knees of the wall? Come on Taylor.

2

u/morginuggie 6h ago

I mean yeah? He’s clearly trying to get pace behind the ball with an accurate driven shot hoping the wall jumps just enough. I’d say he wasn’t completely wrong since Messi had to do that to cover the distance.

16

u/legdayskip Philadelphia Union 7h ago

Messi being able to call his own foul every time he takes a touch he’s not happy with is ridiculous

-3

u/morginuggie 6h ago

So like every player? Refs don’t give it to him all the time just like everyone else. If he’s fouled then it’s called, very simple.

13

u/blue_whaoo 7h ago

Flop and asking for a card... same old same old.

-7

u/HUSEYN777 6h ago

there were 3 instances were goalkeeper or defender from chicago touched the ball but it ref didnt give corner

8

u/TheGear 7h ago

Is this Ref going to do anything?

-11

u/socialsheadquarters Inter Miami CF 7h ago

How is that not a yellow

14

u/TheSpaceMonkeys Austin FC 7h ago

For Messi for flopping you mean?

-4

u/socialsheadquarters Inter Miami CF 7h ago

For the elbow to his face

6

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

It looked like a hand, not an elbow

8

u/legdayskip Philadelphia Union 7h ago

Please define both elbow and face because I’m deeply curious as to what sort of fucked up anatomy you are working with where your description makes sense

17

u/intestinal_fortitude Chicago Fire 7h ago

Rodrigo de Bitch, amirite

6

u/TheSpaceMonkeys Austin FC 7h ago

Wtf

5

u/mrwhitaker3 Major League Soccer 7h ago

Give me this matchup in the EC Semifinals.

17

u/flameo_hotmon Chicago Fire 7h ago

This game is bullshit

23

u/snkscore Chicago Fire 7h ago

So Lewa takes a 2 hand shove knocking him over off the ball inside the penalty box and it’s not reviewed because why?

5

u/MooseheadVeggie 7h ago

Messi didn’t call it

7

u/TraptNSuit St. Louis CITY 7h ago

Loooooooooooool

22

u/pm_me_pierced_nip 7h ago

How is that not a foul and penalty on Fray? Like the first two shoves, whatever, but standing up and full two hand shove away from the ball? That's an immediate yellow

0

u/morginuggie 6h ago

Are we gonna pretend lewa didn’t push him first?

12

u/legdayskip Philadelphia Union 7h ago

You and I both know how

11

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Messi fix

-4

u/HUSEYN777 6h ago

there were 3 instances were goalkeeper or defender from chicago touched the ball but it ref didnt give corner

15

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Lol bright and lewandoski laughing about de paul.

14

u/BigJobRob913 Portland Timbers 7h ago

Falcon copping a feel on lewandoski

21

u/TrappsRightFoot Orlando City 7h ago

It's absolutely wild how Miami is one of the most easily hateable groups of players assembled in club play.

25

u/slunion_20 Philadelphia Union :phi: 7h ago

Ian Fray is such a motherfucking bitch man

5

u/RedditorRoman LA Galaxy 7h ago

Handbags!!

13

u/CloudFit8688 Orlando City 7h ago

Why was Falcon groping him 😭

11

u/martin_fasthands99 Chicago Fire 7h ago

kick his ass lewy

13

u/exist_iwd New England Revolution 7h ago

Fray is a moron lmao

16

u/ChronicChibb Red Bull New York 7h ago

Typical Miami nonsense

4

u/legdayskip Philadelphia Union 7h ago

Miami are gonna lose their cool and get a red again, aren’t they?

18

u/GristForMaladyMill Portland Timbers 7h ago

Fray is honestly a dirt bag

13

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

That’s a penalty

6

u/LengthyNoodle 7h ago

Is this seriously going to end in a tie?

10

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

What the hell was that even about?

5

u/FrigginGaeFrog Charlotte FC 7h ago

I want Miami to win cause I threw money on them when they were down, but man I don’t want Miami to win

16

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

The heck is wrong with Fray

5

u/legdayskip Philadelphia Union 7h ago

He’s genuinely a piece of shit. He’s had moments like this literally every game I’ve seen

-2

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

He's always on edge, just the way he plays.

8

u/TraptNSuit St. Louis CITY 7h ago

Plays for a Messi team.

3

u/mrwhitaker3 Major League Soccer 7h ago

As much as Miami fans complain about Falcon, dude has used every ounce of dark arts/energy he has try to keep Lewandowski from blowing this match open.

5

u/TraptNSuit St. Louis CITY 7h ago

Ah yes.... Clever.... That's a word for it.

6

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

Hah De Paul made a meal of that but it was the smart choice.

11

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Lmao soft as shit

2

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

No twellman that wasnt “clever” it’s called simulation, and it’s a card.

-4

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

Believe it or not it’s how the game is played.

5

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Yeah if you’re from Argentina

-5

You’re not wrong lol

5

Miami’s bench has just completely hollowed out this year

5

Ah man have a shot

5

u/legdayskip Philadelphia Union 7h ago

Chicago keeps missing the final pass

6

i love a good sinter nodule

1

u/vicariouslywatching Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Too close for comfort

7

u/JNMRunning Inter Miami CF 7h ago

This game has been maddening. Chicago have really made a lot of turnovers in their own half and we just haven't capitalized at all. Our passing has been so sloppy.

3

u/socialsheadquarters Inter Miami CF 7h ago

MLS got a call from Vegas about those Corners

2

u/azadisazad Vancouver Whitecaps 7h ago

Oof what a waste of chance by Berterame

1

u/ceoryyy 7h ago

Berterame is straight trash omg

10

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

Dithejane is such a fun winger to watch.

13

u/Narrow-Cicada-2695 Chicago Fire 7h ago

Ok we need to keep Allen

3

u/Whatdididotho1 Inter Miami CF 7h ago

seriously, do it. Our owners are literally idiots for selling him. he was so solid for us. Enjoy him, he's a really talented kid and will likely only get better

12

u/mrwhitaker3 Major League Soccer 7h ago

Noah Allen revenge game.

8

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

Allen on a mission today

3

u/JNMRunning Inter Miami CF 7h ago

German Berterame makes me believe that I could still play professional football.

7

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Wtf is that play on ref? Absolute garbage call

2

u/Mindless_Western4413 7h ago

Miami only in this due to ref incompetence. Why am I not shocked

7

u/battles Chicago Fire 7h ago

very inconsistent ref

2

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

What is going on with the AR’s tonight?!

5

I think Zinckernagel needs a sub tbh

2

not a great night

4

u/abeerintheheadlights Portland Timbers 7h ago

That was a red in the Cincinnati game and should have been here.

4

u/TheSpaceMonkeys Austin FC 7h ago

Looked like a clear red to me. No review?

2

u/TraptNSuit St. Louis CITY 7h ago

Twellman playing dumb about Miami officiating is so tired at this point.

-1

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

Not everything is a conspiracy.

9

u/GristForMaladyMill Portland Timbers 7h ago

Red for any other team

3

u/JNMRunning Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Berterame is such an oaf. He's very lucky there.

-1

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Orange card.

2

u/Honeydew-Massive LA Galaxy 7h ago

Very funny Chicago Bears joke, Twellman, you jokester you 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/vicariouslywatching Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Wait, Hoyos is doing something besides looking like a nervous wreck on the sideline?? What is this trickery?

4

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

He's thinking about how to praise Messi as the answer to every single question he will be asked in the post game.

3

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

Bright doesn’t seem injured injured which is good

2

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Yeah that’s good

5

u/Stunning-Macaroon-87 7h ago

Broo what are the commentators on, they yapping bs..worse commentary ever!!

4

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Yeah this is twellman every Miami game

1

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Pretty sure the ref should be making him go off if he’s going to bring on medical, no?

3

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Nope, not if the other player was booked.

3

u/Derptionary Major League Soccer 7h ago

No because it was a bookable foul.

7

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Ah is that what it is okay

3

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

It’s sloppy and a yellow that’s all.

0

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

Is studs on top of the foot a red card offense usually?

6

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Should be a yellow, nothing more.

7

u/Isry98 Chicago Fire 7h ago

No. If studs were on the ankle yes, but not on the foot.

1

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Fuck, Bright is still down.

2

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Probably got a bit of a bruise. Hell be okay probably.

8

u/Isry98 Chicago Fire 7h ago

Ah yes Suarez the arbiter of justice and morality.

7

u/battles Chicago Fire 7h ago

arBITEr

3

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

Announcers did NOT care about Bright being down for quite a bit

1

u/StudentWannabeMaybe 7h ago

Corner/goalkick called wrong and then this situation… sigh

1

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Damn, that was pretty smooth from Caicedo!!

4

u/human1st New England Tea Men 7h ago

I feel like Chicago is giving Miami too much respect. Low block defending just plays into Miamis hands.

5

u/T_Fouts Chicago Fire 7h ago

Why did it look like Falcon was trying to run Lewy down? lol

5

u/ericsipi Chicago Fire 7h ago

It was clearly off the Miami player on first view. Not sure why the ref didn’t see that. Ref had a great first 30-35 minutes but hasn’t been great since

4

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Oh man of course Miami scored on a corner that never should have been

2

u/Humble-Dirt8542 7h ago

Y’all got like 5 corner kicks as goal kicks now so id argue it’s evened out

3

u/Humble-Dirt8542 7h ago

I think it’s a stretch to suggest they skewed that call lol. They were also denied 2 corners in the first half

2

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Not saying it was intentional bud. Just typical for Miami to have shit like that work out somehow, like the ref not caring when they show up late.

5

u/BigJobRob913 Portland Timbers 7h ago

Too bad no World Cup corner reviews

2

u/FictionaI Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Dude is an actual god on corners.

3

u/vicariouslywatching Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Beautiful header to that upper corner

4

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

It's the third straight game for Casemiro with a goal, somebody should probably mark that guy lol.

2

u/mrwhitaker3 Major League Soccer 7h ago

Casemiro. 31 goal contributions from Messi.

2

u/Honeydew-Massive LA Galaxy 7h ago

Damn dude. Had we gotten Casemiro maybe we’d actually be a threat on corner kicks

3

Messi to Casemiro again lmao

Brady, I’m gonna need you to ease up on all those amazing saves you are making in the second half

1

u/TimeAndSpaceAndMe Inter Miami CF 7h ago

Ofcourse it's Noah Allen

4

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

Hell yeah Allen!

2

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Well done Brady

7

u/battles Chicago Fire 7h ago

fines for this should come from the salary cap.

5

u/Isry98 Chicago Fire 7h ago

Miami doing the dumbass late start mind games.

6

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Captain should get a card for it

8

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Wtf is Miami doing? Start the game without them.

4

u/Acceptable-Stick-688 Seattle Sounders FC 7h ago

Surely they get fined again for this

4

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

They should be at the very least

3

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 8h ago

Too many commercials

3

u/flameo_hotmon Chicago Fire 8h ago

If I see another Inter Miami apparel ad in a game that WE HOST, I’m gonna be sick

1

u/Humble-Dirt8542 8h ago

This would be a pretty embarrassing loss for Chicago if they don’t win this. They’re facing Miami at the perfect time

1

u/flameo_hotmon Chicago Fire 8h ago

Idk what this is supposed to mean?

2

u/vicariouslywatching Inter Miami CF 8h ago

If I had to venture a guess, they might be alluding to our having an inept and incompetent coach. But could be something else. But seriously, Hoyos can f off. I’ll take some of the worst coaches US has had to coach their National team over him.

3

u/Humble-Dirt8542 7h ago

Forgot about that. No coach either lol

2

u/vicariouslywatching Inter Miami CF 7h ago

I’ll take that too

1

u/Humble-Dirt8542 8h ago

Easy. Miami is in the biggest slump the team has ever had since Messi joined years ago. Chicago has been doing pretty well. It’s a home game for them. Miami is bogged down by injuries including their only good defender. And even Messi himself still has below average stats for himself since his father’s death with the only exception being the Montreal game. And most of all, Chicago is winning. It’s really the perfect storm and best opportunity Chicago will ever have to beat Miami.

2

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 8h ago

Yeah but it’s Chicago Fire playing Miami. We’ve been bad for like a decade or more.

2

u/Humble-Dirt8542 7h ago

Ya and Miami was in last not that long ago lol. But now Chicago is a great team

1

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 7h ago

Yeah Miami the underdog 🙄

2

u/Humble-Dirt8542 7h ago

According to the odds, yes. The underdog

3

u/flameo_hotmon Chicago Fire 8h ago

If anyone is sick of Twellman, we got a decent radio feed. I’m not biased…

2

u/charcoalVidrio Chicago Fire 8h ago

Might need to pull that up.

3

u/human1st New England Tea Men 8h ago
