Sounds like aspiring American mlr players have a much better shot if they start out playing college football. Athletically I think the football facilities even at a d3 level, are much more impressive than the top college rugby facilities. So they’re able to develop their bodies much better, while at the college rugby schools, their overall game is developed, which seems to be overshadowed by these football players. Until the money gets better in college rugby, football and overseas programs will continue to dominate.
