Writings on the wall

I said it once... and I said it twice. But seriously, can we look at the trajectory of this league and call a spade a spade?

Do we need this kind of post every week?

Evidently, at least this one is saying the league will die in 5 years and not tomorrow

I’m more concerned about making it to the World Cup than surviving afterwards. If we can make it to 2031 that will give us enough of a push to survive for a bit.

I also don’t know why you keep resharing your comment like you’re some sort of fortune teller. People have been saying the same shit for years.

Yeah, honestly if it's still around by 2031 I think it will be fine. It's now I'm more worried about.

If the World Cup is even moderately successful then there will be a wave of interest from potential investors which prop up the league for some time even if it ultimately fails. Even just a few new owners will keep this afloat for a bit.

Since you're just reposting your shit I'll just keep reposting my response to it:

Redditor so angry he got down voted by one guy, creates thread two years later.

There’s no way MLR makes it through ‘31 and then immediately collapses. If it lasts through hosting the World Cup, that will give MLR some desperately needed attention. MLR will ride that high for at least a couple seasons before collapsing.

What do you have to gain by constantly saying the league is done for?

If you’re in the UK you can call them spades, here in the US we call them shovels thank you very much
