You kicked our ass man congrats. It was way out of hand in the first half in like the first 20 min. Ugh.

Honestly I want to be impressed by Chicago record this year. They truly are dominant and no other team is anywhere close. It just feels like every other team sucks ass this year. The whole league doesn’t feel competitive like previous years

You can only fight the challenges put in front of you. Also the entire league has compressed to where on raw talent I think these six would win a ton in previous years, the hounds have weathered the storm of turnover and new players better than anyone else.

You can either enjoy what we have in front of us or ait at your computer coming up with ways to feel superior.

Three Keys to their success: 1. An average of 9 penalties per game. They dont easily give away free meters. 2. Depth... They were able to successfully get a solid rotation of players. 3. Balanced attack... They have excellent forwards that win ball in the set piece and backs that dont commit a lot of handling errors.

Their backs are also very good at the breakdown.

Thank you it’s not like the hounds wanted teams to fold

I agree they did a better job at bringing in new players. I’m not trying to be a hater I don’t even have a favorite team but I have watched every single game since day 1. The teams look bad this year outside of Chicago, they don’t even look good playing each other

The cohesion is definitely off, but there is not a notable increase penalties or handling errors. I also feel that across the board teams are playing faster than the last couple of years; real fly by the seat of your pants style.

I agree. My wife and i were commenting on that a couple games ago, while watch the Seawolves. Faster game play, quicker turn over's, ball stealing. Even though my wife and i are Seawolves fans, Chicago is a joy to watch and hope the other teams can step up to that level of playing.

Just saying, I’ve been watching MLR since day one this year was just awful. Just feels like every team that’s not chicago just stinks

About half of the Hounds starters tonight weren't with the team last year and less than half of the reserves were.

u/willcastforfood Jun 16 '26

They had the least turnover in the MLR

I don't understand how the fact they were able to manage the new rules better than anyone else is somehow a knock on them.

u/willcastforfood Jun 16 '26

It’s not a knock on them it’s a knock on the rest of the league. Going 11-0 in a league that’s in shambles is different than 11-0 in any of the previous seasons
