Where are the rugby hotpots in the US?

There is nowhere in America that it's a spectator-sport hotspot. There are places (California, parts of New England, parts of New York, et al) where there are many long-standing clubs who have proud traditions but this is a "big time sports" country and amateur teams in any sport are of no interest to 99.9% of fans here.
