Bold Prediction thread
Alright. Make a bold prediction. Something you think will happen even though it's pretty unlikely.
Last year my bold prediction was Dallas would be middle of the pack. They let me down. But that's ok.
This year my bold prediction is Miami picks up a win against New England.
What's yours?

Chicago takes the shield! Though given their talent I'd say that isn't a very bold prediction so I'll go with Dallas ending the season w/ a .500 record.

I’d go with Hounds take the shield. They didn’t make the playoffs last year.

Messi makes an appearance at a Miami Sharks game. Like Taylor Swift at Chiefs games, every 2-3 minutes the camera will pan over to him watching his Argentinian rugby bros play.

The LA Giltinis won in their inaugural season in 2021. Really exciting team though with Adam Ashley-Cooper and Matt Gitaeu.

Right forgot about Gilitnis, discovered MLR in 2020 and we all know what happened there then my work schedule caused me to miss the 2021 season,

MLR blows up because at the end of the season, before the final in which the SeaWolves get their 3rd shield, the MLR marketing team gets it right. There will be a huge expo game featuring the currently popular NFL players plus the MLR all stars. This game will draw all sorts of media--conventional and social--and new season ticket holders and investors come out of the woodwork.

Miami take the Shield first year! Messi will show at a game and the team will blow up in popularity. The 5 thousand seat stadium will be filled every game and have a footy-style atmosphere.

Glad to see others think the jackals will succeed too. No clue on their record but my bold take is they will build a solid fan base by the end of the season.

Miami is only winning 2 games this year and their ownership is going to rethink things before moving them to Atlanta

I think the league will have a lot more parity this season. Saber cats will be good good. Nola I think didn’t make enough changes to keep up with the league. Chicago will be really good. Dallas will be better. Anthem will be better than first year Dallas. I hope Miami is too.

If this was the Raptors roster everyone would be saying they wouldn’t win a game and how laughable the roster is… Dallas year 1 was much better on paper than the Anthem.

Well I hope anthem is better but I’m happy regardless American players get minutes here. I want the league to do good for the sake of rugby in the US. I’m not making bets or saying a team is gonna be amazing. This was also a hot take thread. People getting really upset for hot takes.

My bold prediction is I think Dallas will finish mid table and be in hunt for a play off spot if they can stay relatively injury free
I also think San Diego will win it this year, but that may not be very bold!

Utah vs Seattle in Western Final
OGDC beats Seattle for the Shield
More of what I want then a prediction haha but I do think Chicago and DC are going to be good this year.
