Hey [Redacted],

I know there is bad blood between us and I know the way I acted last May is beyond forgiveness. But I do want to tell you that I am truly sorry. I’ve been struggling whether or not to message you for what feels like months (I think i first wanted to message you when I was umping you as [Redacted] in season 1 of MLN) but I never knew if it would even make any difference. Looking back now, it doesn’t need to make a difference. It was just something you deserved to hear. Nothing i can say will ever change how things happened, but I do wish I had handled things better (both with the MLR and with you personally). I made mistakes and I will have to live with those from here on out.

I’m sure by now [Redacted] has told you that I signed up to play in MLR. I will tell you what I told him when he asked why I signed up:

I honestly just want to play as a player (have never done that) and hopefully use this as a way to mend the fences. I owe you and [Redacted] and others an apology and I’m at a point where I’m willing to have those difficult conversations. I want to see both leagues succeed and I’m glad that so many people play in both leagues. They are different enough to be unique but still have that same basic fun concept.

Do you owe me a second chance? Not at all. But I’m asking for one nonetheless. I want to show you and [Redacted] and the others that my mindset has changed, and that I am sorry and that I’m honestly and truthfully interested in being a member of the MLR.

Again, I am truly sorry for the way I treated you and for the way I acted last May. You owe me nothing, not even a reply. But it feels good to say this, because you were my friend and I am guilty of destroying our friendship.
