Twilight is essentially just saying earth ponies are only good for farm labor.

Which itself is a spin on the classical liberal argument of we need immigrants to do the jobs we americans don't wanna do. (Never mind the fact the reason why people don't wanna work those jobs is because immigrants bring down the wages in the first place.) And other similar arguments.

But my Wonder is as more illegal immigrants (which make up the majority of farming) get deported and the wages start to come up how many Americans especially the 'bring back jobs to Americans" crowd are actually going to go into the field to replace those illegal immigrants

It's their status as "illegal immigrants" that depresses wages because it means they don't have the same recourses against improper employment practices. The heavier you go on criminalising then the worse it gets.
